Jet Jam MARCH 26/27 RACE IS ON!
Hello everyone, Long time no talk.
After a few months of getting all the basics done and in order for the 2005 season, I hope that you will all attend. There is some talk of racers not supporting the event I hope that this is now the case, in a time when we need participation we do not need to divide the sport even further. I thought that the important thing at hand here is that there is racing and good quality racing! This is why Bullett and DSM have merged on the JET JAM to give you just that. You all said that you like the festival style event like in Benicia, Right ! Well that is what we are trying to give you with the addition of ancillary events like at the World Finals, with the addition of the Fab Fifities and other events that will be introduced as the year goes on. Just to give you guys a little feel for what kind of shape the sport is in these are real #'s and they will hurt, Out of 234 different riders that Jet Jam processed last year ONLY 42 made it to all 5 races that is atrosous! I assume it will be that same 42 that will show up this year. So when you here that there these people that think they are going to change the sport and give the racers a voice, who do you think the Organizing bodies are going to listen to the the 42 riders that went to every race or the 190 part-time riders that think they support the sport and they know what is Best. I know what riders matter to us.
You need to put this IJSBA, USWRA,APBA thing to rest! With out #'s it does not matter.
This is not a DSM thing, Bullett Racing would have done the same switch this year. We need to make the event grow and the only way to do this was to add these other events, to do that we needed insurance, APBA would not cover these other events, USWRA would, so instead of being charged twice for insurance we only have to pay once.
DSM is handling all the day to day stuff and to free us up at Bullett Racing
as far as the way the beach is run, business as ussual, Alot of the Bullett Staff will be returning, and The Big Red Desert Rat will still be you Race Director.
Hope to see you all there.
Need more info on the event below is the link to the New Jet Jam web site.
