Re: Don't tread on Rangworm!
And with all that he is such a nice, kind, happy man, wishing for peace and love and always showing you that famous peace sign if you ask him nicely lol. Ringo you are the greatest . And the All Starrs If you've seen a show you know what this concept has contributed to music and to concerts.I bet Mr. Lennon would have been an All Starr if he was still around and was invited to go along on a tour or two.

Re: Don't tread on Rangworm!
My pick for best Ringo drumming on a Beatles song..."Baby You're a Rich Man"...never repeats himself throughout and never misses a beat.

Re: Don't tread on Rangworm!
But would John do a Nilsson...perform at one concert...then catch the next flight out of the country?

Re: Don't tread on Rangworm!
My 10 favorite Ringo Beatle songs-
1. 'I Feel Fine'
Unless your versed in Jazz playing, this one is almost impossible. I havent met any local drummer or band that attempts to play it.
2. 'A Day In The Life'
The fills in this song are incredible and their all different from each other. Only Ringo could play it that way.
3. 'I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry(Over You)'
Ringo uninhibited. He literally tears this song up.
4. 'Come Together'
People that say Ringo isnt innovative needs slapped. Theres a reason why the drums in the beginning of this song remain famous in the drumming world.
5. 'She Said She Said'
Awesome drumming. The way Ringo blends the drums into the music is magical on this song.
6. 'Long Tall Sally'
Yeah, he kills this song.
7. 'Act Naturally'
Toughest hi-hat shuffle in music.
8. 'Your Blues'
Weird song. The drums fit with the music, but yet, they sound off,,,,,if that makes sense. Again, typical Ringo.
9. 'Here Comes The Sun'
Subtle drumming for a subtle song. Just perfect.
10. 'Long Long Long'
Playing for the song again. Love the huge tom fills.
