Video is black

When i am exporting a film from the timeline in FCP, using Compressor, the video is black when i import it into DVD Studio Pro. I can hear the audio, but there is no picture. This happens no matter how long the sequence is. Can anyone tell me why this is happening.

Hi Jaycee,

When you export a film using compressor, are you then exporting for DVD through compressor?

If so compressor should spit you out 2 files - an .m2v for video and a .aiff for audio.

Is it possible you have simply imported only the resulting audio file and left the video file behind?

Run a spotlight search for the name of your file - hopefuly it will turn up 2 results - your aiff and your .m2v
