dvMatte Blast in Motion
Heya,
I'm working on a greenscreen project at the moment and with the help of the dvMatte Blast plugin am trying to remove the green background... for some reason i'm not having much luck though.
Prior to getting the plugin i was just using the motion keying filters and had the footage looking alright, but thought it could be better.
Now with the plugin I cant even get it close. The greenish background colour i have is clean and pretty close to the same colour all around but when i add the high and low colours it is only removing one half of it and seems to be leaving me with a blue background when i play around with the settings.
I'm happy to ditch the plugin and go back to the built-in filters but it seems strange to me and i'm wondering if i'm doing something wrong you may be able to advise me on, as from all reports the dvMatte is supposed to be pretty good.
The other thing that seems different is when i add the dvMatte it blacks the screen out and i can only see my footage when i change it to composite mode, am i on the wrong channel here??
Somewhat confused...
Hope you can help,
Ro beE
