Problems with memory?

Just realized something today whilst having problems rendering stuff from after effects. Actually discovered it in garageband but it works in after effects and hence, it has to be a default.

By locking layers you're saving memory usage. That way the memory focuses on the unlocked files, or the files you're currently working on, and not the ones you're happy with. So in other words if you have problems with the memory, lock files before rendering.

Cool stuff.

You guys may already know this but I thought I could share it with youz anyway...
