Big crosses in Canvas
Hello fine forum people. Please forgive my lack of knowledge about FCP...I was ripped from my beloved avid and put in front of a FCP this week and have been trying to learn on the fly.
I have two issues with my production that I thought I would run by you and see if anyone could help me.
Firstly, across the top of vision that has been put into smaller boxes I have red sections that flicker when you play it. I tried putting the broadcast safe effect on, changing the size and position of the vision and even re-importing the vision, but the red does not go away. Has anyone come across this before?
The footage is 1080i comed from 2 different cameras. Red flickering is on all footage. Is this an HDV compression issue?
Finally, all the other vision has been fine for this week...but as I opened up the project today, I could see big crosses across my vision that has either been chroma keyed or put into a smaller graphic box. I thought there was a problem with my flop plugin so I grabbed another and all seems fine. As i worked my way trhough rendering 52 different sequences I now find over 100 shots (some chroma keyed) with crosses across them.
Does any one know a solution to my issues?
