posticon Flight 2 10:00z AAR

DEBRIEFING:

Hornet 1:
----------

The CF-188 has destroyed the main assigned Target (Depot) for a successful mission. The RADAR station was damaged by gun and a Fire Can (SA-3) was also destroyed.

The Hornet has encountered AAA fire during the one pass strike over the target, without damage.

On the return, Hornet was detecting a MiG-29 on passive radar at their Six, but this ennemy never gain in range and diseaper from our screen. Goodbye Joe!

All Hornet's aircrafts came back to Home Plate safely with 5000 lbs fuel remaining. No ennemy A/C has directly engaged the striker flight, so job well down by the escort!

Fury 1:
--------

The SEAD Escort has destroyed the Fan Song at SA-2 site located few miles away, north of the main target. The SA-3 and AAA was still active when strike has begun but the Hornets was performing a very low level flight and escaped all enemy Ground to Air threats. No damage on the strike aircrafts has been reported.

Fury 1 flight has been KIA during Air/Air combat with the Red Air (ennemy).

Falcon 1:
----------

Falcon 1 has engaged some MiG-29 (F-16 Agressors) before main strike began.

On the return, the Falcon1 wingman was short on fuel and his leader called the Camel Tanker for a A/A refuel, but package mistakently rejoin an AWAC aircraft! No AA refueling possible !

RTB call to head toward the airbase has been done shortly.

An emergency landing procedure has been requested by Falcon 1 and they all landed safely followed by Canadian's CF-188 Hornet few seconds later.

Package:
-----------

Our First ****pit entry was difficult. Misison Clock was paused required an IN FLIGHT restart and then, some aircraft was already KIA.

Some IVC delays was reported in the middle of the mission. TeamSpeak was then used for COMMS during this IVC delays.

Red Air was unable to use some COMMS frequency, because a 6 digits requirement impossible for inputs inside ****pit.

Five (5) aircrafts were back to home plate at Brindisi Casale, Italy at the end of this successful mission.

  2 x F-16 (Falcon 1)
  3 x CF-188 (Hornet 1)

Nice job PACKAGE !
