The Truth About Kelsey Smith-Briggs
There is no question as to who murdered Kelsey. While Kelsey's Mother, Raye Dawn Smith, went to pick up her husband's children, Porter murdered Kelsey from blunt force trauma to the abdomen.
Kelsey's Mother, Raye Dawn, was recently convicted and sentenced to 27 years, because "she should have known."
A CPS worker was at the home 1.5 hours before Kelsey was murdered, while Raye Dawn was not present, and the professional did not see anything that concerned her.

Judge dismisses Kelsey Smith-Briggs suit

SHAWNEE, Okla. - A judge has dismissed a malpractice lawsuit filed by the father of Kelsey Smith-Briggs, a two-year-old girl who died after suffering repeated abuse.
The suit named two physicians and the Shawnee Medical Center Clinic.
Pottawatomie County District Judge Douglas Combs ruled Friday that the civil lawsuit filed by Lance Briggs of Shawnee had no legal standing.
Briggs filed the lawsuit in June 2006, claiming Dr. Kelli Koons and Dr. Andrea Barrett contributed to his daughter's death Oct. 11, 2005, by failing to recognize and report she was being abused.
