Tiny Tim: paralyzed and abandoned at a library on a freezing night
Tiny Tim is a white long-haired guinea pig who was left in a basket in a library. He was discovered the next day and was barely moving. He was not expected to live through the night but his rescuers showered him with so much TLC that he survived overnight and is still very much alive today. He received a lot of intensive physical therapy but his lower body is still immobile. A couple of newspaper articles were written about him and he was featured on Best Friend's website.
