Re: sites
Nobody has posted anything here for awhile, so I thought I would offer up one of my favorites. It's a little off-topic, because it's mostly visual porn, but come on - you guys don't spend all your time writing and reading do you?
The site is: Forumophilia
It's a sharing site, and there is a ton of stuff there. There is one thread for sex stories, but it sucks. But if you just want to download some dirty movies or interesting picture sets, this is the place. It helps if you have a Rapidshare account, since that's where most of the goodies are stored. I spend waaaayyy too much of my time there.

Re: sites
Do you ever get trolled (in the fishing sense of the word) to put your stories on someone else's site? I don't usually get them but I've gotten a couple of requests in the last couple of months. The latest place is www.themasque.net. I wonder if the web owner just emails a bunch of the latest authors to post on SOL in a hope of drumming up activity on their site.
It's probably pretty hard to be a start-up site. People are used to SOL and ASSTR as the place to go, so you would have to be lightyears better and even then still have to wait for people to learn about your site.

Re: sites
Well, I've done the opposite side... I've recruited (or attempted to recruit) authors to post on a site. Mainly because I thought the writer could learn from the feedback... unfortunately, in the one writer's case, he dissuaded the readers from generating feedback, so he never did learn the lessons I hoped...

Re: sites
Here's something completely irrelevent and probably a complete waste of time for anyone here, but it's a slice of culture where I live:
Kung Fu Kids
I wish the quality was better, but my options are amazingly limited here...I copied the file of a pirated video disc I bought for 3 cents or something. Maybe a nickle.
