I'm not sure how to translate the title. 新 means it's a new interpretation of 醉打金枝. 金枝 usually means a girl born to royalty or a branch of the royal family. 醉打 means drunken beating. So the literal translation of the title is the New Drunken Beating of a Royal Girl. I am going to temporarily call it "How to Marry a Princess". It's the Chinese version of Taming of the Shrew. I haven't seen the drama yet, but I have all the episodes taped. It stars Chae Rim (a Korean actress) who plays a Princess, a daughter of Emperor is Tang Dai Zong (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emperor_Daizong_of_Tang_China). This drama describes how this Princess got married...and who she finally ended up with.
