K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)

All of you on the west coast are far ahead of us on the east coast so I don't read here much because I don't want to read that far ahead of the episode I'm actually on and spoil it for myself.

The first two episodes grabbed my attention and then it seemed to go downhill for me from there.

To me, it seems like there is great potential here but the storylines are boring. I like vet girl and that's about it right now. Is it Dan, the one who works in the office? I like her alright too but her storyline is just blah. She comes in the office and all the office talk is always centered on her when she appears, and it's all to do about nothing. I think the writers need to step it up a notch.

I'm hanging in there but it's just like Sky and Earth to me, if I miss minutes or a whole show it wouldn't bother me. They have all these characters but no one has an interesting story.

The uncle and young boy in the formation room and hiding behind bushes I could do without too. The two lead guys, nothing interests me there either yet.
Hopefully, it'll get better.

Jasy: I feel the same as you about this one. Just not doing it. But I watch anyway. Unless this one comes up with some good stories I'll put it in the same category as Sky/Earth... Just a run of the mill story about a family.

I still like Dan and Baekho. They seem to be the only ones I can stand to watch. Sua is killing me! Her and granny's open dislike of everyone is really making me mad. Don't either of them have manners? You can dislike someone without having a major attitude about it. Sua gets up and stomps off constantly, with granny right behind her. So rude....

Now that Baekho is living in the same house... AND sharing a bathroom with Sua I suppose we'll be bombarded with negative encounters between them.

I have yet to teach myself to like this drama. Just saw a little bit of it tonite.

I now remember where I saw Chan's dad - he was a blond guy in Four Sisters - married to the eldest sister.

K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)

I've been watching this drama on and off since it started. It just hasn't captured my attention like some of the previous longer running dramas. I would at least try to catch most of those episodes. There is not much else to watch right now and this is one of the few K-dramas with subtitles so I hope it gets more interesting. I agree with nsheldon about granny and Sua. Granny at least should be more mature about things and not side with Sua's pouty fits. At least Baekho's character makes things interesting.

Is it just me or Seonjae is after money? His not talking to his gf on the phone anymore, calling Sua first to meet her, looking over Bonjour Food files denotes that he wants to get close to Sua just for the money. Can't believe he turns out to that character.
Baekho really makes things interesting. And that Sua, I really really hate her. She is a rude brat!

Yes, it seems as if Seonjae is interested in the money. However, someone will change in their attitude either Sua of Seonjai. I prefer the young vet more than Sua.

To me, Baekho is a really dopey character who has little personal skills. For someone who grew up with a single working mother, he seems very selfish and unaware. Also, his expressions and mouth are very annoying. He would be better looking without all the queer expressions and strange mouth.

Kang Baek Ho...maybe he's supposed to resemble the "Kang Baek Ho" (that's the Korean version of the name) in the Japanese manga/anime 'Slam Dunk'?

I was surprised by SeonJae's sudden apparent interest in Bonjour Foods and with his apparent interest now in Sua. He could have told his mother that he was indeed seeing someone. Baekho better shape up soon or I will stop rooting for his character.

I started watching this drama because of Jo DongHyeok, but—
Last night, SeonJae was—was after the money~????? Image
And having interest in Sua (Image), like everyone is saying…..

I’m watching this drama here-and-there bits….and whenever Sua shows up and opens her mouth….I just want to throw a book at her..
instead I almost threw a TV controller at her…. Image
Thank goodness my lefty was stronger than my righty Image

Another person that is making me Image— recently is SeonJae’s mom!
She is just for the status symbol..all-the-way!

Hoping the next week is much better—or—or— emoticon

Trite and boring and annoying .. I just feel we keep going further down all the way from (I guess, because I never saw it, but you all kept raving about it- Sukyand Jeongnam or something like that - and Pure in Heart ) to Heaven/Earth and now to this one... Unless they come up with something a little bit more original I am a goner too I am afraid..
