Snack food all over the furniture was one thing, but seeing Sua jumping on the couch like she was 8-years old was quite another! That made me laugh. But only because I can hardly wait for Dad to open his mouth tonight!
I can't see this NOT being a major breech in this family. Maybe Dad will be so angry and fed up that he will send the bride back to her family—which is a huge humiliation to a wife. That would be great. Even though Sua doesn't like living there, going back home to the Bonjours, branded as an unfit wife, will not be pleasant. Actually, it's probably more humiliating to the Bonjour elders to have a daughter/granddaughter who has been publicly rejected as unfit by her in-laws.
Then there is Seonjae's mother. I almost had a little sympathy for her last night, but quickly changed my mind. She has brought all this onto herself and is reaping what she alone has sown. If she's so stupid to sit out there freezing all day, I can't sympathize with that, either. Why didn't she just go to a movie, or a museum, or some such place?
Psychologically, a general rule of thumb is that people don't change until the pain becomes unbearable (one way or another). When, oh when, will she have had enough of Sua's extreme behavior? Not only is Sua totally self-absorbed but also she's downright mean and hurtful to her mother-in-law, treating her as though she's nothing more than a sub-human who exists only for Sua's personal whims. Still, it's up to Mom to straighten out her daughter-in-law. The buck stops with her.
What's up with Jiyeong? She knew she should not be meeting Seonjae—otherwise, why the guilty behavior and lies to her father? The music box deal is over and done with. Neither Seonjae nor Jiyeong should waste the time to talk to one another—unless they want more of the same treatment from others. I understand Seonjae because he loves her and is probably very lonely. (That doesn't make what he's doing right.) Jiyeong has been pretty good about making a break with him, only to once again undo it all. Unfortunately, saying 'no' a hundred times gets completely wiped out each time she says 'yes.' He's a fool, but she knows better. If anything, Seonjae could have apologized over the phone and left it at that.
I'm afraid that Seonjae's jealousy is so great that he will take underhanded action against Ujin. There's no way his interest is in making sure Ujin is a suitable marriage prospect for Jiyeong. He's only interested in making sure Ujin doesn't get together with Jiyeong. Throwing his fresh cup of coffee into the trash was a good barometer of the depth of his feelings of jealousy and resentment. By the time he got to his office, he was still so bent out of shape that he called personnel for Ujin's folder. No good will come of this!

Sua is the product of being spoiled by her grandmother. But now, she is being spoiled by her mother-in-law. Did you see how she tells her MIL to cook for her friends because 1) she doesn't cook and 2) she can't hire an ajumma to cook for her because her FIL wouldn't allow it. She can simply do take outs or order in. She can't even be bothered to come up with a solution that will not inconvenience others.
Sua can't change and wouldn't need to change had she marry someone from an equally wealthy family. But the fact is that she married into SJ's family and they are not as wealthy as her own. So either she needs to change her ways eventually or else it's splitsville for her and SJ. His family, especially her mom, is beginning to find Sua as a burden, not as an asset. Personally, I don't think the Na's will ever ask Sua to leave. She would have to leave on her own.

I don't understand Granny. She's all bent out of shape about the first wife's ritual, but she has no clue about Sua living with her in-laws??
Geez, where I work, Seonjae would be fired if he took someone's personnel file out of the building, much less let someone else read it.

what's up with Jiyeong? I can understand her not jumping into another relationship afer getting dumped, but she feels and looks so weak in front of Songjae. She should have looked at both Sua and Songjae straight in their eyes - with her chin up. I just love that Ujin! There's something about his smile that makes him so adorable!!
Ahh!! Too many people to hate in this drama: Granny, Sua, Songjae's mom, Donggi (for being so weak), songjae - and most of all, Creepy.
I'm glad Danpung is beginning to listen to her heart. Loved it when she told her friend - 'she can't touch Hyeonu. Gaahhh!!! that guy is so demanding - manipulating - intimidating!! I can't believe he told Danpung 'he accepts her apology for being late'.

Sorry everyone. I forgot which episode I was watching. From now on I'm only going to watch the one that this thread is discussing. The other one is one episode ahead....
Ok, so last nite dad and mom come in to find Sua jumping up and down on the furniture (how rude, even if you are drunk!!). Dad yells at her but Sua begins crying and whining how much she is suffering. Has this girl ever suffered in her life? She tries to turn everything around and accuses dad and mom of not caring for her.
Ok, and this episode shows Dan in her wedding attire and Dr Psycho very happy with her looks... She is beautiful..
Donji says she will do the rites for Mansu's ex wife. She has no problem with it but it must hurt. Mansu, trying to understand that this may hurt Donji, tells granny to do it at the temple. Of course granny gets ugly about this. Granny looks for any reason she can to look down on Donji. This is really hard for me to watch. I don't like how Donji is treated like trash by granny.
Jerk comes home in the middle of the Sua/dad/mom mess and puts Sua to bed. Jerk defends Sua to his mother and also to Dan. When Dan comes in and gets upset with Jerk for the mess, Jerk said he was about ready to go in and clean it up himself. He only had to wait another few minutes and his mother would have it already clean. He should have done that before puttying the brat to bed!! Or, they should have made Sua do it. Maybe it would have sobered her up.
Oh, has Dan finally awakened? Dr takes her home and wants a kiss. She kissed his cheek lightening fast but after she pulled back he grabs her and kisses her. She is repulsed by this and pulls away, obviously disgusted by him even touching her. He shows a mean side. He's so scary to me..
Dan is left standing there after Dr leaves. She realizes now that she doesn't love this man; may never love him; and can't stand him touching her.
Dan later has coffee with that girl in her office and admits she doesn't have feelings for Dr. The girl tells her to either marry without love or wait for a man to come along that she can love. She tells Dan that you can't 'force' love..
Jiyeong and Ujin see a movie and Jiyeong tells Ujin not to look at her as a woman yet. He tells her he won't, as long as she continues to date him like this. He's so cute and so sweet. I know it's hard to get over someone but I'd choose this guy over that Jerk any day!
Jiyeong and Ujin run into Sua and Jerk afterwards. How uncomfortable. Sua is actually glad to see Jiyeong with a boyfriend. Now she doesn't have to worry as much about the Jerk and Jiyeong..
Then Dan meets Dr and tells him she wants to postpone the engagement. There's that mean look again!!

Merela, Sua has always been a burden to everyone (from the beginning, especially to MIL and Seonjae, only they are in denial). She doesn't even exert any effort to make adjustments, or to at least try, and she takes advantage of MIL. At least Dan doesn't put up with all that c--p, and I loved it when she told Jerk to move out if Sua doesn't change. Somebody needs to tell Granny and the Bonjour family about Mrs. Jerk's outrageous behavior, or is Sua beyond help?
I'm concerned about what Dr. Creep might do to Dan after she said to postpone the engagement. That look on his face is not priceless, it's downright scary.
Zashibear, thanks for calling Seonjae a rat-so I now christen him Rat Jerky!
