The bacon scene, in case it was edited out. It was short, so perfect to be deleted.
Jongsun comes home from shopping. She's relieved to be home alone. She bought some expensive Korean bacon for herself with the club money and has set up a whole big spread on her kitchen table. Grill fired up full of bacon cooking away, side dishes... the whole 9 yards. She sits down, a huge smile of satisfaction on her face. She takes a leaf and places the juicy grilled meat on it, rolls it up and pops it into her mouth. Heaven! As she swallows it, she hears the front door open and close. Panic of panics! OMG! Yep, her worst fear. Hubby comes walking in. She stands in front of the table shielding his view. He's about to go to his room and change clothes. Jongsun is relieved. Then he turns back. Sniff... sniff. What's that he's smelling? It smells like MEAT! She tries to stop him, but he pushes her aside. Seeing the king's meal she has prepared for herself, he gets really mad, says something and leaves. Jongsun is fit to be tied. Heaven didn't last very long...

In the morning when Dongji and Mansu had breakfast together, what was their conversation about? class ul MS(Mansu) said that all he wants from life is to be with DG(Dongji)..--having breakfast together, she gets his socks and ties before he goes to work, and she holds his hands when he has a hard day….And why is that so hard for her? She replies that she doesn’t dare to ask that much from him, it would be too greedy on her part….. MS doesn’t understand that, and says if she wants him to give up all his power and money, he will do so……
It was a very moving scene ……..And the 2 did a very good acting job.Q. When Seonjae goes to a business lunch and Sua is there, was that a set-up that the guy left them alone? Or a legitimate coincidence? class ul Not sure if it was a set-up or not….Possibly---, knowing how sly foxy Sua is…….. Sua finds out the painting’s owner’s phone # from the gallery and offers him more money to buy it. Just when SJ(Seonjae) sits down at the table, the owner gets a phone call, and he has to leave. He also leaves the musical tickets for them.. SJ doesn’t want to have anything to do with her at this moment… He leaves without taking the tickets.Q. Did they show the scene of Jongsun (Seonjae's mom) getting caught stuffing herself secretly with korean bacon? class ul No, we didn’t see that. Must be a funny scene!! Darn those deleted scenes again!!Edit::oops, Sorry, I didn't see Pooka's post.....

Thanks, Pandapop for answering my questions, too. I've had the same experience many a time where I'm busy responding then after I post I notice someone else has already done so, too. But I like to read all that everyone cares to share about these scenes. Each person adds a little different shade of detail that makes it all more clear.
It's funny, but after doing the "Deleted Scenes" for a couple years, maybe I've developed a sense for what has been left out!  I'm glad I wrote up the secret meat scene. It certainly makes the dynamics at the family dinner table more understandable as to why "Dale" (the chubby father) was so angry with his wife.
Okay, I'm about to change my mind about Seonjae. I can understand if he's waiting for the right time to bring Jiyeong home to meet his parents. He knows she will not be acceptable to his mother. However... and it is a BIG however... is he ashamed of her?
Episode 8 (Friday) - Deleted Scenes
After the eye incident, rich doctor drops off Danpung at work (I wondered why he invited Baekho along in the car)... class ul He takes Baekho to the river and grills him about his relationship with Danpung or maybe what he's doing in life... maybe both. Hyeonu isn't impressed with Baekho and walks away. Baekho isn't too happy with Hyeonu, either. class center *****After the "meat" fight at dinner and Jongsun checking out her stash under the closet... class ul Jongsun is in Dan's room, in her bed, playing with a teddy bear (clapping its hands like you'd do with a baby) while Dan is at her vanity. In their chit chat, Dan gives her mother two tickets (the same event that Sua had tickets for?). class center *****At Happy Events, Sonya is playing puppets with Chan (the little homeless boy)... class ul Suddenly the manager comes in and is yelling at Chan's father (Dalhyeon)—guess he really messed up at his latest gig. Dalhyeon notices his son across the room and runs to him, hugging him and acting like everything is great. In conversation with Sonya, she mispronounces something. Dalhyeon corrects her, then Chan repeats the correct pronunciation very slowly while Sonya repeats but can't get it right. Dalhyeon takes Sonya's mispronunciation and turns it into a new word (a "Sonya-ism"?) that fits. He is light hearted about it but Sonya doesn't find it funny. class center *****Dan returns Baekho's wallet.... class ul He asks her to lunch. They go to a nice place. Looks like she's eating ribs (something messy) with her fingers and Baekho teases her. She takes it for a little bit, then smilingly puts him in his place and returns to her eating. He clears his throat and feels awkward. His phone rings. Can't tell who he is talking to, but he has an arrogant, punky attitude. Dan looks at him disapprovingly, but that's what she used to from Baekho, so she resumes eating. class center *****Fadeout: Baekho and Sua?!

Hi Everyone
Sorry, I haven't posted much recently as I didn't find Sky/Earth very interesting. Unfortunately LB and Jisu didn't have much chemistry. I thought there was more chemistry with the Rich Boyfriend but unfortunately he wasn't the one. I couldn't believe it when I saw LB and Jisu give each other nuggies after they got married. I know that was supposed to be playful, but for heaven sake, they are newly weds!
It really dragged at the end and got too mushy. Had to laugh as someone said it was so "sweet" they didn't need to use sugar in their tea. I hope the new show is in the same class as Pure 19 and Bizzare Bunch. I guess it will start showing tomorrow. Does anyone know how many episodes?

So, you will be about 10 episodes behind us? Total episode # ? Not sure…..Probably will be 150+…The rating’s been very high in Korea. So they might extend it-- just like other long running daily dramas. I like this drama so far…

About SJ(Seonjae)--the playboy..... Yes, it was kind of weird that he didn’t introduce JY(Jiyeong—another happy woman?)- the vet girl as his girlfriend….... I thought he was serious about getting married to her..…Twist and turn coming up…..
And do you think SJ’s hungry- meatless- father will find his wife’s hidden money? It didn’t look like well hidden at all!

I have a different question: are they now giving plastic surgeon degrees to KIDS? My goodness, Shinyong's brother in PIH looked like a kid. The plastic surgeon in Man in the Vineyeard (the same actor who plays Baek-ho here) barely looked like a doctor. Now they have us believe that this seventeen-looking year old is a plastic surgeon too? I checked, and I do not think that I have grown so old that fast to think that everyone is a kid, yet...

that's why I barely recognize any of the actors in this drama. The plastic surgeon was a 17 year old kid in 18 v. 29.

hi all...
i've been watching this on and off when I can remember (my eyelids are almost shut by this time  ). so far, it's alright for me, but I'm looking for more...hehe.
Regarding Eva, she also did a series with the popular boys band SUPER JUNIOR called "Full House". She and another exchange student from Russia came and stayed with the boys for 3 months or so. It's fun to see them learning Korean to communicate with the boys, and seeing the boys trying to learn English to communicate with the girls...hehe.

going back to the plastic surgeon looks issue.. I think that maybe, the plastic surgeons guild of Korea is sponsoring these dramas and using young actors to advertise their skills to the drama watching population, like saying "see? We look like this because we can take care of our looks.. with plastic surgery!!" LOL!!
