K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
I hope they have BK go to college - they can afford it, right? So the obstacle between DP adnd BK will be removed then,,, Did they not have Muyong in Heaven and Earth do the same?
Also something must be said for whoever wrote the script for Baeko's mother, it is abslutely boring and it is such a waste for an actress of her caliber - I mean, have you seen her in Autumn Tale? Hurry up that awful disease or whatever it is they are hinting at, at least SOMETHING will happen to her!!

Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
I agree Danpung and Seon Jae are alike in that they both have set aside love in favor of personal success and both risk losing out on love because of this. Danpung has her fathers values and Seon Jae his mothers it seems. I still think love triumphs here and Danpung and Baek Ho are soulmates destined for a gloriously happy marriage. I still think Seon Jae eventually wants to go back to Ji Yeon although I am no longer sure she would or should take him back. It does not seem to me that Danpung looks down on anyone. She respects and values the ethic of hard work in anyone regardless of class or position. Its that for her as a woman she has to prove herself every day. She always has to guard against men disregarding her worth because she is a woman. The double standard applies here. Danpung cannot have an office romance and maintain her authority. So I figure Baek Ho has to accept that transfer eventually.
I didn't mean to shout earlier by bolding the quote in the earlier post. I was just having trouble getting the blockquote feature to work right and eventually gave up and bolded the quote in an attempt to have it seen as a quote.
The grandmother of Sua is being played by Kim Young Ok and she is indeed a very, very good actress. you might remember her from Yellow Hankerchief or Bodyguard among others.

Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
I think I missed something. When did BH and Ujin find out that they both know JY? I was surprised when Ujin, BH and SJ were eating lunch and Ujin asked BH that they should call JY to go out drinking. Maybe they talked about it when they were 'playing' basketball?
Can't stand granny hiring that housekeeper either. Mom needs to stand up to Sua. Maybe her thinking during dinner that she hates all this lying will get her to stand up to both Sua and granny.

I guess the reason Ujin moved to the States was he was broken-hearted with Jiyeong; maybe Jiyeong was Songjae's girlfriend at the time.
Baekho and Ujin have become friends since then - especially knowing they both know Jiyeong.

I was just having trouble getting the blockquote feature to work right and eventually gave up and bolded the quote in an attempt to have it seen as a quote. Here's how to do "blockquote" (different from the "quote" button in the far left column)... class ul class li Go into the edit screen (like you're creating a new post) class li Type, then highlight the text you wish to put into a blockquote. class li Scroll up to where the "Spoiler" icon is class li Left Click once on "div" (next to the spoiler smiley icon) class li Move down to the next line where you see "class". Do not click on class, but click and hold on the down arrow while you slide down to whichever feature you desire. In this case, slide down to "blockquote". When it is highlighted, release the left click button. The text you originally highlighted will now be within a blockquote.Or, if you don't want to fool with the buttons, you can do the same thing manually by typing this:
Example (I'm sticking in a couple extra spaces in the code so the computer won't act on the instructions):
[quote ] Mary had a little lamb. [ /quote]
If you leave out the blank spaces, it will look like this: class blockquote Mary had a little lamb.Remember, every feature within those two drop-down menus MUST be used within a [ div], [ span], or [ p]. (Again, I've added an extra space in each command so it will appear as text.)
Another note: When you complete creating your post and click on "Preview," if you then go back to the editing area where you created your post, you will see that the code has changed into things you didn't type in. For example, where you typed [ /quote] it will now be shown as [ /div]. I don't know why, that's just the way it is, but don't think you've done something wrong because you haven't.

Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
Two observations tonight:
-Koreans don't seem to make a big deal of New Year's Eve. No parties or big celebrations to speak of and back to work, as if nothing happened? Guess, I just think that New Year's Eve is a pretty big deal
-Most of the characters are "fake" or "phony," with the exception of Miae I LOVE her bluntness & "take no crap" personality and loved what she did to the brat & her MIL NOBODY messes with Miae, huh, LOL!! Was afraid she was going to do that to Sonya but she showed surprising decorum...for now!! Miae was always one of my favorites but, after tonight, she might be #1!!
-Does Danpung really think that "believing" she can love the psycho doc, will make it happen I can't believe Baekho can look at her every day...not to mention, deal with the aggressiveness of his co-worker...though, she is CUTE, lol!!
-Liking Ujin more & more and wish Jiyeong would show a little more interest but understand why she's so "guarded" & looks like Ujin has some work cut out for him!! It's pretty obvious that Seonjae still has feelings for Jiyeong...just look at his face when he saw Jiyeong grabbing Ujin's arm...nice move, Jiyeong ...but I hope she NEVER gives that jerk the time of day!!
Nice call by whoever said that Sua would find the music box in Seonjae's office Expect fireworks on Friday's show and, maybe, the beginning of the end for Sua & Seonjae!!
--- Nam Sang-Mi...my favorite K-drama actress & a BEAUTIFUL woman!!
Chae Rim...my 2nd favorite K-drama actress & gorgeous!!

Hawaii is one episode ahead so I knew what's going to happen tonite (courtesy of my friend) - but I still love to read comments.
Just like lex07, my fave character in this drama is Miae.
