I have two questions
First, I never understand what a "planning manager" does. Both in Pure in Heart and here, Yunhu and Seonjae are planning managers. In Pure in Heart Yunhu was doing all kinds of different things that did not seem related to each other. Here, I know Seonjae is a fund manager, so is planning director here to do with stock investments, or what? Planning manager is a very general term so someone could explain please? is it a translation of the same korean term both for Yunhu and for Seonjae or are the terms different and the translator just translates them generally?
Second (and this is actually a comment ) I class reveal  class spoiler refuse to believe that Danpung, who has JUST witnessed how Seonjae and Sua's story progressed through engagement and marriage, does not know what a ring means, and especially what the famous PARENT MEETING means!! What did she think, that they were going on a picnic?
I dont know where you guys are so I put a spoiler on it. I saw 79 on February 5, but since we are only shown this four days a week (Wednesday they show something else) I will be on 80 on Thursday

Seonjae has chosen his path despite the good advice he received from his father and now we wait to see if he cracks and reevaluates his moral compass or if he becomes more wretched and greedy. Sua's "dance" with Seonjae is almost over IMO, she is about ready to move on to another "excitement" Also, it's no wonder granny likes Seonjae so much, he is as greedy and two-faced as she.
The dog owner was just a scheme to fool us off...kind of like..."you thought Jiyoung's new love interest would be him but we gottcha...you are wrong...we are still in control...you think you can predict kdramas...we'll show you!
the writers has done a good job at building tension and keeping us tuned in for the next show don't you think?

Updated Predictions
1. I think that Jerk will attempt to destroy JY over the doll, but will end up at war with Ujin, and ultimately BH.
2. The upcoming war at the Na house seems to be Sua vs. Dan, and eevryone taking Sua's side.
3. The beating (which I missed) seems to tell me Dan and BH will be toegther by ep. 100. Wonder if it will be the Kijoon-Inyoung situation, of high stakes.

wow nchristi your guess about a week or so ago about that snoopy wedding gift was right on the money.
nsheldon and viyra I agree with you that the 'bad' characters should be punished not redeemed and live happily although smarter or more humble at the end,
The dog owner just disappeared but I do think that Ujin will take revenge on Seonjae at some point.
Baekho looked so forlorn after Seonjae coming in to save the day and also about not knowing English.
Sua is just too much to bear. Showing no respect for her elders while lounging around being pampered and coming out to breakfast in her sleepwear.
I hope Dan tells her true feelings about the doc to her parents soon.

In answer to italiansoul’s question about Seonjae’s job titles, an (investment) fund manager (Seonjae’s job at the beginning of the story) pools capital put up by individuals and organizations to purchase assets (typically stocks and bonds) that will generate income or appreciate in value. This is a popular career choice for many MBAs, but they usually don’t start as lead manager as Seonjae did here. Moreover, a fund’s viability is almost never put at risk because of the performance of a single holding as was the case here when the failure of a pipeline in Siberia threatened to bring down the entire fund. The scriptwriters simply don’t understand the investment world.
A planning manager at a manufacturing company like Bonjour is concerned with researching and evaluating opportunities and threats as they relate to products, competition, demographics, and other factors that impinge on the company’s business. There is no connection with stock investments, and indeed it’s difficult to see how Seonjae would fit into his new job were he not considered heir-in-waiting. Once aboard, however, he would have frequent contact with the marketing department.
The crisis that lately confronted Bonjour and which Seonjae brought to a successful end again showed the scriptwriters’ ignorance, in this case confusing the sales and marketing functions. The marketing department (Danpung and Baekho) would not make a contract (written or oral) with a customer. So if the customer reneged on the contract, it would be the sales department that would handle the problem. Marketing at most would hear about the case. It certainly wouldn’t accost the customer at his health club. A honeymooning planning manager would also not be involved. But why the company’s president wasn’t yelling into everybody’s ears is beyond me.
I must be the only posting viewer who considers “Likeable or Not” a romantic comedy. I understand that there will be serious moments since so much of the comedic effect depends on earnest characters reacting to ridiculous circumstances. And there must be some villains for the audience to boo. But the vehemence displayed here is astonishing because it seems so heartfelt. Jerk, Creep, Brat, Sourpuss. We’re back to the allegory of Pilgrim’s Progress: Hew to the straight and narrow, else there be retribution!
I fear adding my commentary lest I be accused of abetting debauchery.

This is a set piece of course, and the characters would be the same in any language in any country.
It is a comedy but I don't think it is my idea of romance. Just taking the cynical approach especially with Danpung..... Too modern to be so meek and mild even if she is a good daughter.
I like her mother who is really funny.

-Sua & granny are really something...and not in a good way!! They really deserve each other. Can't believe Sua sees nothing wrong with asking...no, actually, demanding water from her in-laws  And granny telling Dongji to come home early?? How often does Dongji go out and granny is telling her to come home early??
-Interesting how Jiyeong is not really comfortable with Ujin & her father seems really bothered by Dallae's friend!! Both are quite pushy & imposing themselves on Jiyeong & her dad BUT NOTHING compares to the doc who went from creepy psycho tonight to something that I can't even write or say  The look in his eyes when he tells Baekho to come out with him, after seeing Danpung & Baekho taking a picture together, was like something out of a horror movie!! DAMN psychotic!! He makes Norman Bates seem normal, LOL!!
-Calling her at ALL times & stalking her is not enough...now, he's beating up a "supposed friend" of his?? I REALLY hope that this incident is the "straw that breaks the camel's back" & Danpung gets fed up with the lunatic doc & tells him to go away!! Man, I almost wanted to go through the TV myself & punch his lights out, he made me SOOO angry!!
-Just an extra thought...I know the dog owner has disappeared but it would be interesting if Ujin becomes too pushy & scares Jiyeong and the dog owner comes back into Jiyeong's life & something develops. I wouldn't close the door on the dog owner yet...you never know. But I do think that Ujin is very interested in Jiyeong and, hopefully, is the man that can bring her happiness!!

Maybe this drama should be called the drama of the pushers and imposers, since we have:
Dr psychoplastic having taken over Danpung;
Sua imposed herself on Seonjae and "took him away" from his quasi fiancee (with his cooperation of course and the lure of Bonjour foods)
Sua's grandma and Seonjae's mom made sure to make them meet and "create" a marriage (so they pushed and imposed themselves)
Now Danpung's mom is about to impose a marriage on Danpung... she better wake up!!
And now it is time for the enablers to stop enabling these people to push and impose over them!! Wake up folks!!
