Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
Thanks, nchristi and pooka, for the car repair info.
I know, I learned so much from logging into this forum that you will not believe….
And nchristi, if you are referring to me on the names….I’m watching the same time slot as you are….but I sometimes get my info from “koreanwiz”.
On these types of long dramas, I have to take notes or I won’t know who’s who….
Sorry for the confusion.

That was so sweet.... Foodman sleeping all night with his head on Hairsalon mom's lap. Baekho wants his mother to be happy but it must be hard for him to look at his mother as someone's lover. I wonder what I would do if my mom hooked up with someone? OMG, I wonder what MY kids/grandkids would do if I hooked up with someone LOL...
Sua and Fundguy sure meet alot... I've found that, in these dramas, that usually means they will end up together... LOL (well, maybe not all the time!)
hahaha!! my son didn't like that idea either - so now I am more focused on my grandson!
BTW, who is that nasty girl who don't know how to wash a rag? and what is Eva's role here?

Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
Last night, we found out that the foreign girl Sonya (Eva Popiel) was from Kazakhstan….. WiKi Kazakstan….. In PIH, I was fascinated by Gukwha ssi ‘s hometown Yanbian. I hope the writer will give us some insights into the life of a foreigner in Korea. And how does a girl from Kazakhstan end up in Korea?
Here’s another interesting article about Eva Popiel…
More Foreign Faces in Korean Dramas
I did like the romantic scene of the older couple—MS(Mansu )and DG( Dongji) where he slept on her lap the whole night long…… It’s funny, not too long ago, in “Here comes Ajumma”, the Count had his head on his female friend’s lap…But that was such a Yucky scene though!!!!

I am a little confused about the money that Dongji had to give to Jongsun. I understand that Bakeho spent it all in the begining but who's money was it ? Was it the women's social club money? Jongsun sure seemed like she had some ideas for it when she got home. Pooka: One of my friends was involved in this kind of money club--Hui.
She told me that this is popular all over Asia…. I think Dongji was the head organizer in this case…..Most of the clubs operate on the same basic principle: class ul a group of people, often ten or 20, contribute the same amount of money each month to a kitty, which is immediately loaned to one of them. All club members, including the borrower, continue to make the monthly payments until everyone has received the purse once. By that time, each participant has borrowed and repaid the entire loan. The organizer, who is typically female, keeps a record of payments and vouches for newcomers until the club disbands

On these types of long dramas, I have to take notes or I won’t know who’s who…. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks, Neko. No, it didn't cause any confusion. I was just wondering if there was another source for watching this drama... one that has e-subs. That would be very helpful sometimes.
Like last night when I experienced "viewer malfunction." I didn't check my tape and it only had room for Ajumma (thank goodness for that!). I didn't check until midnight so I lost the whole evening's programming. I had to watch the unsubbed KBS VOD of "Likable" today. I would appreciate if anyone could fill in some answers to my questions.
Q. In the morning when Dongji and Mansu had breakfast together, what was their conversation about?
Q. When Seonjae goes to a business lunch and Sua is there, was that a set-up that the guy left them alone? Or a legitimate coincidence?
Q. Did they show the scene of Jongsun (Seonjae's mom) getting caught stuffing herself secretly with korean bacon? (If it was deleted, I'll add a little blurb about it.) The way she's been withholding meat from her husband's meals has cracked me up. She's like a determined, happy little chipmunk scurrying about all the time. Maybe we should call this couple "Chip" and "Dale"!
This actress is so versatile, isn't she? In this role, she takes me from irritation to laughing all the time. Yet, in "DIL," she is an elegant, classy woman. She's not nice, but I find her "DIL" character to be her most fascinating of anything I've seen her play.)
My, what a difference a car makes! Suddenly Hyeonu (plastic surgeon) is interesting to Danpung. (But of course a beautiful face and bod are the same shallow equivalent to males.)
Okay, so who's more annoying, Sua or Miae (Raggie, the can't wash a rag girl)? Personally, Raggie is the worst. Not only is she selfish and lazy, but she seems to have elevated her whining and obnoxious complaining to a professional level. Sua is spoiled and bratty and connivingly coquettish, but it's at an amateur, young girl level. There seems to be hope for her.
