I wouldn't be surprised if Dongji (hair salon) got pregnant the first time around with Mansu, before CEO Mama smashed their relationship. Now it's been 20 years and Mansu recently "found" Dongji again. Is Kang Baekho "their" secret son?
I was thinking about the same thing about Baekho being their secret son. If that's true, that will be one heck of an episode to see...hehe.
And just out of curiosity, someone also mentioned this too, but isn't this drama too similar with the weekend one "Daughter-in-laws"??? it's so hard keeping track...keke.

3 familiar faces last nite: yo in young (Brian liked her in Love Letter) - is she the brat?; Eva (Global Talk Show) and the bespectacled guy who approached Han Ji-hye was the boy in 18 vs. 29!

Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
Thanks for answering the grandparents question…... I haven’t seen any of the shows you mentioned with both grandparents, yet…. Hopefully, I will see one soon.
I remember watching an American sitcom called “Golden Girls”. They showed some of the wittiest and funniest seniors. Why can’t we have a drama with Nara from Bizarre Bunch, grandmother from “daughter-in-law”,grandfather from “PIH” or “Thank you”, and grandmother from “Coffee Prince( and this show)”……., living together in a retirement home? That could be like “Coffee Prince-Golden cup”……I think the elders have a lot to offer rather than just match making their children--- like in this drama and many others...... …..
Korean Silver Town-La Vie D’Or.
I found this article about the new trend in the Korean social changes. It’s about the seniors retirement arrangement…….. This article was written in 1996…And I’m just wondering 10 years later, what is the current development in Korea??….On a lighter note, I think there is a lot of drama materials in this……..
Excerpts from article: class ul This ………. has given many South Korean families the means to avoid the complications that often come when elderly relatives move in: acrimonious in-law relations that often lead to marital conflict; disputes over parents' wealth, and a gradual disintegration of traditional family values.
.
The elderly, too, see their new wealth as a way to guarantee their independence and their freedom from family obligations such as housework and baby-sitting for their grandchildren — chores that would be expected of them if they lived with their children

pandapop.
You must look out for the English Comedy series called ..'Waiting for God' It is about senior retirement home and it totally written as a comedy. However, one of the residents had been a photographer during WWll and she was a very feisty character. alway making trouble and generally livening things up.
I think you would enjoy this British humour. Very sharp at times but always funny. It is still showing on PBS usually at the weekends I think.

Thanks viyra!
I guess I wasn't the only one who was thinking about Baekho's being Mr Bong's son....
I wonder if granny knows of that secret!

OMGosh~, nsheldon, do you really think Vet girl is going to get
dumped!
But—but… she even introduced him to her father and the aunts…..
I refused to accept SunJae (Jo DongHyuk) ending up with that rich-spoiled girl, SooAh!
It’s kind of refreshing to see JDH laughing or smiling a lot in this.
Because the ones I’ve watched even they are comedy, he’s always stern and mean looking.
BTW, anyone who is knowledgeable in auto repair…could you fix that type of car trouble with lady’s stocking?????

Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
An edit from tonight...
Looks like Baekho is secretly letting his uncle and nephew stay at Dongji's apartment. Baekho leaves early in the morning, while Dalhyeon and Chan play video games. Suddenly, they hear Dongji about to come out of her room, Dalhyeon scoops up Chan and they hide in Baekho's room. Dongji looks at the clothes scattered everywhere in the front room and begins picking them up, thinking they are Baekho's. She goes to put them in his room, only to discover there is another set of pants/clothes on the floor. Oh well... Out she goes, closing the door and we see Dalhyeon and Chan hiding behind it. She leaves for work and they are safe. His phone rings. It is a call to work for Happy Events at a store opening... class center *****I get the feeling that Seongjae will remain committed to his vet girl friend. My guess is his crisis in this drama will not be his wavering between two girls, but all the big guns trying to get him away from Jiyeong. There's his mother, Jongsun (the terminal social climber) who has decided to marry him to Sua. There's Sua, who has decided that she wants this handsome, financially successful guy—the only person she cannot control. Then there's Ms Choe (CEO Granny), who will see Seongjae as a good match because he's got a future and her granddaughter wants him. They will all try, by hook or by crook, to manipulate him away from Jiyeong (vet girl). He cares so sweetly and genuinely for Jiyeong, I can't see him really falling out of love with her and suddenly loving Sua. But this is a K-drama and everything illogical can and does happen.
Edit: class blockquote BTW, anyone who is knowledgeable in auto repair…could you fix that type of car trouble with lady’s stocking????? Well, it is sort of conceivable in an old car like hers. Panty hose material is very strong when made into a rope or cord. If it had the right traction and tension, it might get her little car to a nearby repair shop. But a car with a broken fan belt will also run without it until the battery dies from the alternator no longer charging. (In newer cars this belt is known as the "auxillary drive belt" and controls a number of things: alternator, waterpump, air-conditioner compressor, power steering, etc.) More than you ever wanted to know!
