Jiyeong is too weak! She is already on the ground - getting kicked left and right by Songjae and she continues to do nothing! Wake up and smell the coffee! It's brewing real good, Jiyeong! You'll have a better life without Songjae. Let him marry Sua and that's the only time he'll find out what he is missing in life. Sua is not about love - Sua is about Sua only!!

BTW. I like Jiyeong and Baekho better - but they can't be a pair - they are in-laws!!

I'm glad that so many are enjoying this drama now. We've seen about 46 episodes in my area and it seems that Baekho'a exaggerated facial expressions that turned many off have toned down considerably. I remember when PIH started, an awful lot of viewers were totally annoyed with Gukhwa's grimacing and didn't care for the program because of her. By the end of the drama, Gukhwa had endeared herself to just about everyone. Yunhu, too, started out unappealing and ended up irrestistable.

I feel the same that Baekho getting better and better looking now.

If Sua and Seonjae do break up, his dear mother can be compensated by having her daughter marry the Bonjour (step)son.
That would be funny, that she indirect force her daughter like to her son to marry the Bonjour step son - Baekho!

Also I have a feeling that Baekho end up to be Bonjour real son - after check the DNA, and the life going to be perfect for Baekho - if I am the writer that will be the storyline

I am starting to get hooked on this drama.Let me do some BP on the discussion and join in too. Jiyeong is having a hard time letting go. But we know when to stop and face it. Plus I am sure the experience will make her stronger!

Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)

Quick highlights from tonight:

-Seonjae's mom visits Sua's grandma & later tells Dongji that she should have her brother, Dalhyeon, move out of the house...because of Miae & all the trouble she's causing. Thankfully, Dongji stands up to her & tells her to mind her own business. It's almost funny how Seonjae's mom looks down on Dongji, despite being friends.

-Sua finds out about the fight between Seonjae & Baekho and confronts Baekho about it at the house!!

-Jiyeong refuses to throw her momentos of Seonjae away & goes to talk to Seonjae. Miae insists on going with her & Dallae agrees but Jiyeong insists on going by herself...I got the feeling that she was FINALLY going to tell him good riddance, just based on her facial expressions!! She's in a cab on the way to meet Seonjae when she notices Seonjae & her dad heading into a cafe. She tells the driver to stop. Seonjae's dad BEGS Seonjae to reconsider and take Jiyeong back, ONLY because he's afraid of Jiyeong's mental state...still, it's PATHETIC to see him, on his knees, begging Seonjae!! Jiyeong walks in on them & the show ends!!

Should be interesting to what Jiyeong's reaction, to seeing her dad on his knees & begging, will be!!

The mouths of both actors who play Baekho and Seonjae really bother me. If this were not the case, I would find them more attractive. Baekho contorts his lips in strange ways and Seonjae lips are too thin.

The women in this show are much more attractive than the men. Usually this is not the case with Korean Soaps.

I didn't like that last scene last nite where the father knelt in front of Songjae. That is just so s @#*& d for that man to do that. He has to talk to his daughter Jiyeong who is inconsiderate by making everyone worry especially her father. Even if Songjae changes his mind and choose to marry Ji-yeong, is he sure Ji-yeong would be happy with an empty shell? Ji-yeong doesn't have the comfort in life that Sua is offering! I hope Ji-yeong wakes up after she sees what her father is doing. Begging on her behalf. I'm guessing the reason she wanted to see Songjae is to give permanent closure on their relationship.

BTW - hooray for Songjae's dad! I'm glad he gave it to him! But Songjae is really a jerk.

Jiyeong and her family should just move on. They can't force that jerk Seonjae to go back to her. That's pitiful.
I know how Jieong is feeling. I've had my heart broken too and it is so hard at first. I can't eat, can't sleep, I always breakdown in tears when I hear songs that reminds me of our times together. Time is a great healer. No medicine can help her at this difficult time. The best revenge is to look good and get somebody better than him.

Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)

Hello Family emoticon

The thing that I found telling about Songjae was the conversation he had with his father. The father took him out to let him know there was still time to back out of the wedding and Songjae basically told him to mind his own business. He told him that the life he (the father) lived was not good enough for him and he was fine with marrying for money. He was so disrespectful in the way he spoke about his father's life and achievements he left me speechless. He all but said that he was superior to his father and his father's way of life.

I have to say I've never really seen him show any affection for either parent. He has a very cold and detached demeanor. He really turns me off. He has no real personality. I've been watching from the beginning and I'm still waiting for him to crack a real smile. emoticon

If Jiyeong and Songjae really did get together, with her being so low key and his being so no key I don't know how they'd have even a conversation. She's so much better off without him.

Her father being on his knees in front of that jerk broke my heart and made me really mad at the same time. As a parent I understand the anguish her father felt worrying about his child and all she's going through, but to give that loser the satisfaction to see that, really turned me off. I'm kind of glad Jiyeong saw it. She has to know how much sadness and worry she's bringing into her father's life. It may be the one thing to wake her up. I hope so.

Gotta go!!

Later emoticon

I agree with everybody...Jiyeong's dad kneeling in front of that jerk was SOOO pitiful & unnecessary!! I was so upset to see him reduced to that, for his daughter.

I do believe that Jiyeong was going to meet with Seonjae to tell him that she was FINALLY moving on!! I would think (and hope) that seeing her own father begging like that, in front of her, will wake her up & bring total closure to that situation!!

Jiyeong is TOOO pretty & good for that jerk emoticon Time to move on & find a "real" man, Jiyeong emoticon

Pleiad, your scenario was what I had originally thought and hoped for when all of this nonsense started. I was hoping that Seonjae would turn out to be a good, decent, somewhat tweeked in his actions guy but after his conversation with his father, I am beginning to think that his true colors are more like his mother than his father...too bad.
I would suppose that we will get to watch Seonjae's regrets after the wedding!
Also, I don't believe Maie went to the house to see Chan knowing it was the Bonjour household like some seem to infer. She just wanted to visit her son on his birthday...something that should not have been prohibited.
Rushed marriages are never a good thing, IMO.
