K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
I am in agreement with you Pali. From my perspective, I tend to feel that Seonjae's hesitancies and comments (don't expect too much) were rooted in the fact that he knows his family well and perhaps he senses there might be disappointment from them that the women he has chosen is not a stepping stone to more status for the fam. I also think that both Seonjae and Jiyeon are timid with their physical interactions with each other (Seonjae included) and although Seonjae is showing himself to be a good fund manager, he is still lacking in how to express affection and with someone as agressive as Sua, she can make all the moves that he would otherwise be too inhibited to make himself. IMO, Sua is the type of woman to have a good time with but not marrying material.

Curly carrot...I agree with your comments. It's more the mother's attitude than the father's. The father is one of those rare civil servants who is not dishonest and looking for financial gain by any means.

Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
Didn't catch last night's episode (and have missed a few others) so I decided to read a few days worth of posts to see what I've missed. I didn't watch the ep regarding Seonjae remarking to Jiyeon that his 'tastes have changed'. I guess he really is feeling differently about Jiyeon and maybe is starting to fall under Sua's charms (or is just realizing he doesn't love Jiyeon and Sua just happens to make him realize this although he might not like her). He might be trying to 'do the right thing' or quell his guilt by forcing Jiyeon to meet his parents. I have to admit that there is more drama in the scenes with Sua and Seonjae than there is with him and Jiyeon, but like pali said I don't really see the spark between them in there scenes (he always looks confused and angry).
It was a very funny observation about the food spilling out of the character's mouths. I laughed so much that some food spilled out of my mouth.
Characters like Sua and Seonjae usually don't end up together no matter how much a character changes later (Sua seems to be so extreme I don't see how she will change) although on 'Chill Sisters' the unexpected (for me and also heartwrenching initially) happened and the younger sister did end up with her sister's love. I guess that could happen here too.
smoochie I think you are right about the comment about Baekho and mental impairment and ncristi I think an 'L' in his name is totally appropriate.

K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
I did not watch for a few eps then last night I was getting bored and turned it on at nine fifteen (here it starts at nine) and what do I see? Seonjae's mom getting all giddy about a picture given to her by Sua and I was reminded immediately why I had been turned off by this show!!
In the meantime I am watching shows on Mysoju.com that I have never seen, and I think I have spotted plastic surgeon boy on 18 vs 29 - I think he plays the young student Noon. Much better role for him there I think

K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
Last night (or about 10 episodes back for most of you) tbey finally showed a second dimension for evil Sua and Grandma. Sua's behavior is awful, but at least it's rooted in genuine hurt that her father didn't pay a lot of attention to her. And grandma showed some wisdom or tact or something when she mediated the big fight. I agree that the characters are still being "calibrated." That's a good word for it.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm looking forward to the weekdays again, after a dry spell with the end of the last show. Even DaeJo Young is getting a little bit more interesting lately.

Re: K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
I wonder if somehow Minsu has an inkling that Baekho is his son? Maybe he pushed the marriage because having a son (even one as silly as this idiot) is important to him. That could also feed into Sua's hurt about not getting attention.
It might also be Dongji's way of doing 'penance' for not giving Baekho the life she thinks she should have. But he'll screw it up anyhow.

K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
I think, it is obvious that in the end Baekho and Dun Pang end up together. The only mystery in the show is which female gets the fund manager.
There must be an endless supply of young people wanting to be performers because of fame and glory. So many of them disappear quickly.

K-Drama: 미우나 고우나 (Likable or Not)
it would be nice if the writers would give us some flashbacks to Dongil and hubby's reuniting and courtship...perhaps it would contain clues to their behaviors.
