Good afternoon/evening Family. So far I am already hooked on this one. The one that stands out to me right now is Eunhu. She seems to know and care more about family responsibility than her sister Eunja ( hope I got it right lol). I think she might have a little crush on her BIL. She might of made him a better wife.

As for Shadow man (Muyeong), he reminds me of a young Jeff Goldblum. I am still trying to understand his story line but he seems to have a good caring heart. I like his role in ICP(ICS on the east coast).

ChatG has a nasty attitude and seem to say whatever she wants. I wonder who will be the one to put her in her place.

Jisu is cute and seem to be a wonderful and caring daughter. I think we will get a taste from all sides of a family drama on this one. I wonder how many episode will they treat us with?

Seok Jonghun (52) - Professor; single father of two children. class ul
Seok Jiwong (27) - Jisu's older brother. (Has he appeared yet?)

Seok Jisu (24) - Prof's daughter; works in office with Tango Girl; rich guy has proposed to her but it seems she carries the torch for Muyoung, our lost soul. class center ***** class p class p Here are a couple of interesting pix from the press conference announcing this drama. Hmmm.....

After following PIH during the weekdays, and ICP weekends....I thought I would take a break from the daily dramas.....but i am so intrigued by the complicated family situation in this drama....so it looks like I am hooked on this one too....and already I am hoping TG ends up with Prof...and JiSu ends up with MuYoung.

i think the poor family consists of the grandma and her 3 children.....

  They have 2 sons : Kim SangHyeon and Jung MuYoung

MuYoung is an adopted son.....so he cannot take the adopted family name Kim......After watching YH,I learn that Korea has this registry system.... but does it mean that once you are registered as a Jung,even when you become adopted later on,you cannot change your family name?

Thank you, nsheldon for telling us the origin behind the nickname FP. I've been meaning to ask about that one. (LG?) And thanks to nchristi and the rest of you for all of the cool re-christenings. The're so much easier to get a hold of (lazy Americans, us!)

I don't think that they'll end up being together, but I was happy to see Jisu's boyfriend telling his sister to butt out and leave his girlfriend alone.
God, some of these folks can be uppity!

Hello Family

I think I'm going to like this one. I'm behind a couple of days on the east coast. But, so far the writing is good, the characters are interesting and the cast is experienced.

Once I get used to the family of the groom and their place in that family it may become clearer. I still don't know who they are and how they're related. I know it'll all work itself out in my mind. emoticon

But, I'm going to perservere.

Lots of layers. I like layers. emoticon

Hi, I am on the East Coast and just saw this episode. I don't think that she was being nice. The sister had two objectives - one to make the girl feel inferior by saying that her clothes were not suitable for where they were going and the other is that the sister did not want to be seen with the girlfriend "underdressed".

Also, there are the ages of Sunim and Park Myeongja. Sunim is 65, while Myeongja is 51. If Myeongja is Sunim's daughter, that would mean Sunim gave birth when she was 14 years old. I suppose it is possible, but is it likely?

But then the Parks above all have the same name: Myeongxx. So, you may be correct.

Good Morning Family

The thing that I find confusing is, that the groom said that his parents live with an aunt. Now they're calling the oldest woman in the household Gram. Which is it??

Last night I saw the episode where the newlweds go to the groom's parents and the bride is so spoiled she doesn't know when to shut her mouth. So far, I'm not liking her. No matter how modern she is she could have a modicum of respect for her elders.

She may get better, but not if her own mother doesn't teach her. Her mother is much too concerned about that brat's comfort level. emoticon

Bad, very bad.

Welcome Ras893!!

I'm so glad LB (Lost Boy?) came home. I personally call him the Hugger. This actor/man/character knows how to hug. Even mom gets a realy hug. I wish he'd come out here and hug me!! I like this character though.

And his brother (gorgeous groom) seems disgusted and tired of what LostBoy put his mother through but I think he still loves him as if they were real brothers. I love looking at Gorgeous Groom... Does anyone else find him as beautiful as I do?

MG (Mystery Grams) must be bio mother to Lost Boy and Gorgeous Grooms mother. She acted surprised and then hid, and then peeked at LosBoy & Gorgeous Grooms mother thru the window. So maybe the poor house's grandma isn't the bio grandma to one or more of her own children??? Maybe she married the father and he took his child from MG and let his new wife raise her??

Seems to be a lot of interesting scenarios and puzzles to figure out. I already really like this show.

But I still mis PIH...
