Was it ep 64 last night? I remember it's 60-something.
I knew someone like LB--so negative, always down. After a while, all of us just got so tired of her. We tried to do cheery things, be positive. Didn't work. She was a nice person, but so hard to be around for any length of time. Now with LB, I've got the clicker! Last night, I kept switching around, but every time I came back, there he was or that unpleasant Eunha and that treacly music. Yuck. I have no interest in what happens to either one of those characters--put them in a room together and shut the door--and change the music! LOL
I did see Prof and TG in their dance. He's a strange one--I think he really loves her, but it's almost like he really hasn't committed himself, other than deciding to marry her.

Yes indeed, my Korean sources tell me that the actor and actress who play the Prof and Myoungja are real-world real-life husband and wife - so fiction is just echoing reality. Maybe that is why they had such a special glow when they did the tango together (I LOVEd that scene!!). I think that in time (and in the plot) she will be a very beloved "second" wife -- and maybe a mother (keep my fingers crossed for her and the Prof - as characters and as real human beings.) Hope she finally gets to wear a real wedding gown -- the wedding should be the highlight of the first third of this drama (180+ episodes?).

wow, I did not know they where married in real life ,thats so cook I like them both. I remember when she had her first child, but was not aware she was married to Prof in the real. 180+ep..... good lord, that LB has got to improve his ways.....soon......hey do any of you have any hope for Bub????.....think he will turn a new leaf .....so to speak...he might even be a bit cute if he was sweeter......just thinking....lol

LB will not change his ways at all until they give him some new clothes to wear. Even his Uncle Bub who is always broke has a wardrobe of different clothing. What is wrong with the writers???
Euha has to go... and maybe that will happen once she get to a psychoanalyst. She is so lacking because of her mother babying her all these years.
Jisu needs to be more forceful in her attitude all around. Her father is not giving enough care on her behalf in that family.
This is going to be a long and bumpy ride.......

Wecome aboard, mq1986! I enjoyed your fresh perspective on the Sky/Earth characters.
Okay, some comments then I'll be off to do the deleted scenes from last night.
Eunha - She's too trippy. As mq said, she goes from practically a catatonic state to the opposite—zero-to-sixty in less than 6 seconds! But worse, now that she's back to "normal," she's flat out mean to Jisu. Her expression looked so ugly to me in last night's scene with Jisu. Her method of declaring war and trying to intimidate Jisu certainly is a glimpse into our sweet, innocent, fragile, helpless little girl, isn't it?
LB - I was a little surprised at what he said—rather, what he did not say. But, basically, I think he told her the raw truth of his situation. He really cannot ever be with Jisu until he can come to a place of respecting himself. He's a long ways from that at present. In fact, he seems to be regressing.
LB used to have the dream that he would come back to Jisu when he had got his act together and could come for her as a worthy provider/companion. It seems that he has given up that dream now and is settling into a depressed place where he thinks he can never measure up. Women need to be loved; men need to be respected. He doesn't love Eunha (yet), but she has him on a pedestal and adores him. He is rescuing her. She is validating him completely as a man.
I was talking to a man about this the other day, asking him what feelings take priority in attraction (other than physical). It was only one man's opinion, of course, but I found it interesting that the first thing he mentioned was protecting and rescuing a woman. He described those feelings as a basic male fantasy and that such a circumstance is very seductive.

OMG, I had no idea TG and the Prof were real-life Hubby/Wife. That's WONDERFUL to hear. So this fabulous onscreen couple is really a couple!! I would never have guessed that. They are adorable.
Nchristi... I know I sound like a broken record but, you really nailed it with LB. He doesn't feel he measures up with Jisu. But with Eunha he can be the protector and she DOES validate his being a man! And even though Eunha comes from money (where Jisu comes from education and hard work), LB doesn't feel intimidated by Eunha's background because she's lacking, just as he's lacking. They are two lost souls hanging on to one another for support.
It's not that I dislike LB. Well, I guess it is. I could really like him a lot if he weren't hurting Jisu right now and acting like he is Eunha's saviour. I liked him in the beginning. I thought he got a raw deal with Grams and Bubs. But if you think about it, he got a great deal of love and support also. His mom and dad and TG all treated him like family. Groomie loved him too but always tried to be careful of his feelings so he wouldn't feel left out. It had the opposite effect on LB though.
I'm just saying that yes, he had a rough time but it wasn't so bad that he should have run off, not graduated from school, and not had dreams to pursure. He was happier wallowing in his self pity. That's why he can relate to psycho girl. She likes to be the victim too.
I want LB to be with Jisu. Maybe by shows end he will. Maybe by shows end he will be with a very emotionally stable Eunha too. It is really hard to know. There are no clues with this one. We know LB loves Jisu. We know Jisu loves LB. We know EUnha loves (in her twisted way) LB. It can go any way here. I'm still rooting for LB/Jisu. But in the meantime, I'm just fed up with his self pity party and don't want to see him anymore.

class p Episode 65 (Wednesday) - Deleted Scenes
Grams setting table for Bubs... class ul M-Grams calls. Sounds like she's asking Grams about Bubs and Grams is telling her how terribly he was treated at the restaurant. Bubs can tell his mother is speaking with M-Grams so he comes crawling out of his room on his hands and knees to the table, wanting to speak with M-Grams. She tells Grams "no," but Bubs grabs the phone from Grams and starts questioning her.
My guess is that Bubs is complaining to M-Grams, grilling her about owning the restaurant and how could she do this to him... because of her he had to do all that work and has ruined his body! Oh, and then there's the solid gold frog. She acts innocent, of course, but when Bubs really gets into his interrogation mode, she finally says "good-bye" quickly and hangs up. Bubs is left sputtering! Grams' doesn't like what Bubs has been asking M-Grams and looks a little embarrassed.
Over at M-Grams, she's assessing her son's behavior. She doesn't like it, but at least she has it all in control and is determined to make him "grow up," I do believe.
Back at Bubs... He scoots up to the table but golly gee! His arms won't move! How ever will he eat?! The scene cuts with Grams looking at him in disgust—but she'll probably spoon feed him anyway! class center *****[Tango scene. Beautiful. I loved this, too. They must have studied it in real life because Prof has good extension and follow-through in his movements... not easily learned in just a few lessons. She did a great job, too. It was a beautiful dance by both of them... made me fall in love during the music, too!]
After Jisu returns home broken hearted, cut to Eunha, sleeping... class ul Eunha awakes from sleep with a start, gets up and goes downstairs. Her father is coming out of kitchen with a cup of tea. They sit down and talk. She is confused. Dad is very low-key and calm. He does all the talking and she listens. She then seems to agree to whatever it is he has said. She gets up, goes and knocks on her mother's door. RM is sleeping. Eunha wakes her up and asks if she can get into bed with her. RM folds back the blankies, Eunha gets in and snuggles up to her mother. Eunha does the talking. Mom listens. They end up smiling and snuggling more. class center *****Oops, almost forgot your daily fix, nsheldon!

The Prof and TG are real life hubby and wife! Wow! They are a great looking couple. They must be having a ball doing this show together.
In episode 63 when TG and Prof were on the phone together, he asked her to go shopping with him the next day for matching shirts so they can wear them together. That's all it was about.
I think you're right brad6, we'll know when LB changes his tune towards Jisu, it will be when he changes his pants!
I'm frustrated watching this all unfold. I liked LB when he used to meet Jisu and they'd talk in the playground. Oh, for those days again...
I don't know what to make of LB. I don't really like him now. While he's going out of his way to be good to Eunha, he's hurting Jisu, the one who was always by HIS side through thick and thin. Has he forgotten?
While his mom and dad, and I guess Groomie loved him back in the days leading up to his leaving home that time, TG one time said she didn't have it in her heart to worry about him or something like that. It was when she was all happy about Prof wanting to marry her.
I still think it was the best thing at the time for him to take off like that. Grams and Bubs were ruining him. I know this is just a show, but I swear, I don't think I can like Bubs even as the show nears its end and he turns out wonderful. Something about his whiny wimpy ways turns me off. I can't help it. I'll never like him. He actually disgusts me.
I don't know who LB will end up with. Actually, I'd like to see some great looking successful guy come along and sweep Jisu off her feet. She deserves so much more than the rough time LB is giving her.
