Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
class p Episode 58 (Monday) - Deleted Scenes
TG returns to the office, shows Jisu her ring... class ul Miae calls and wants to have lunch with "mother." TG's mood is burst, worrying about Miae and also being uncomfortable with being called "mother." TG then laughs it off.At a café Miae hands TG an envelope... class ul Inside is a paper. I presume it is some sort of list or plans for the wedding. Whatever it is, TG is not particularly pleased, or does not want any wedding assistance. (There is some conversation within Miae's mind as she looks smug.) She argues back with TG and ends up saying something that hurts TG. (TG has silent thoughts in her mind now, too, realizing there is a problem with Miae.) Miae haughtily smiles as she sees she has succeeded in upsetting TG. Then she coyly brings up "father." TG gets quite serious and seems to be politely but sternly putting Miae in her place, as Miae gets a frustrated expression. The conversation ends with TG smiling from a superior position and Miae looking rather shot down and unhappy.TG is on the rooftop at work... class ul Really upset about Miae, TG is venting out loud. Whatever Miae has said is way out of place to TG's way of thinking. Miae goes to see her husband at their restaurant.... class ul She storms in, flops down in a booth and is furious. Jiung tries to calm her down, but she's ranting and raving. At TG's office... class ul At her desk, TG has recovered. She's shaking her head and smiling in disbelief and resignation at her future daughter-in-law. class center *****Jaedu comes home; RM chews him out for spilling the divorce beans... class ul After their "talk," she goes to her room and sits down at the vanity. She is deeply hurt. Looks as though she is thinking about her life... class center *****

K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
I agree with you nsheldon, that LB has this need to take care of Eunha. He probably sees himself in her, a loner. Just as he has Jisu as his only friend, he knows he's Eunha's only friend.
I would love to see Groomie and Jisu get together. That would blow everybody's mind. There needs to be some excitement in Groomie's life, it seems so boring to me. I wish he had gotten his own apartment. I can't stand to see him sharing the bedroom with his over grown useless uncle.
And then there's the Miae storyline. There are just too many unlikeable people in this show. Why in the world would Prof allow Sonny Boy and Miae move in when he's getting married soon.
I used to love watching the interaction of Prof and Jisu at home, but now Miae is in the way.
I really think LB is blowing off Jisu because he's embarrassed of confessing his feelings to her. He took her reaction to his confession very seriously.
I'm two days behind you guys and read that things are moving along there, but still. Everything is so frustrating in this story.

The actress playing Eunha is good. She really conveys her feelings very well. I am beginning to like her. She is not manipulative like everyone thinks. In fact, she is avoiding meeting LB. every chance she gets.
I think Jisu should get a life.

Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
Okay, I'm over my LB snit. I do think he'll be getting involved romantically with Eunha now... and for some time to come. (The writers have to make us sweat it out for a while, I'm sure.)
Something else bothering me are a couple of the e-sub translations from the episode where LB yells at Jisu, and how accurate they are to American understanding.
First, outside the academy when Eunha wasn't there, Jisu called LB, asking him if he found her. He said "No," and hung up. His immediate words were "What a pain." Was he referring to Jisu? Did he want to be left by himself in his search for Eunha? Maybe he doesn't want to "share" Eunha with Jisu just as Eunha considers Jisu the third wheel.
Second scene at Nari when he yells at Jisu, saying something like (I'm paraphrasing here) "What are you doing now?!" My first reaction was that he was blaming Jisu for causing trouble for Eunha, upsetting her and making her run away. Then when she leaves, he says about Jisu "You are a fool." Then he changes and says, "No, I am the fool for having told you my feelings."
On second thought, I wonder if he meant something else, perhaps "why are you declaring yourself now... this isn't the time for us to get together because my life isn't ready yet." But since Jisu has forced the issue by declaring herself, it has backed LB into a corner he isn't ready to deal with.
Well, that's as far as I can go for LB right now. I'll give him that slack but I still don't like how he's treating Jisu. They could both be happy if they openly shared their feelings but agreed to place them on the back burner until he resolves his life issues. There's no need for him to deny Jisu. Nor is there need for him to chase after Eunha—unless he is beginning to care for her more than an a "little sister."
LOL! I was thinking the same thing about Groomie and Jisu after LB chased her away. They'd make a great couple. Groomie is 28 and Jisu is 24. Not such a bad age spread. After all, LB is 24 and Eunha is 20. Same difference—actually a worse difference because Eunha is so young and immature in many ways. She's a very childlike 20-year old... more like 15.

ok, now I am getting the hang of this, CA. is a head of Pa,by a few ep. thats why I was thinking I missed a few ep. and ask what happen to M-Ja is short for Myeongja = LB's (Muyeong) adoptive mother. She had a cyst growing on top of her pituitary... or was it hypothalamus (can't remember now). our next ep is them just being told....sigh...did not miss it. I was having such a hard time getting the hang of this drama, but it starting to get to me.....my two cents says LB and JI will end up together.....but then again it may surprise me.....thanks for all you replys, I am really enjoying it here.
