K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
I also saw the first episode last night here in the NYC area.
I also recognized the doctor brother from Farewell to Tears.
Is the grandmother who was singing and drinking around the table the same actress who was the wife of the large company owner (also Mr. Park in PIH) in Farewell to Tears?

Nrspark, I agree. Groom was just too serious. Bride is very selfish, but she did say, this was her honeymoon and that's all she wanted to talk about. Groom was boring because he wouldn't let up. Yeah, he's right, they need to talk it out, but on their wedding night?
Still, we need conflict, these dramas live and breath on it, and we love to talk about it! LOL

Maranyc you are right. I knew she looked familiar also. There are so many faces that pass thru these dramas that after a while they all seem connected....... I think it will take me about a week or so to get use to the new names. Thanks, Nrspark! The grandparents seems awfully young in this show.....I have only been watching these kdramas for a little over a year so it couldn't be me getting that old.....
I am really confused after watching the first two episodes and can't figure out who is who..... I keep forgetting which parents belong to the bride and which to the groom....

Hello Family
I watched episode 2 tonight, but its still too early for me to get names right.
The bride left the groom on their honeymoon! Got on a plane, went back to Seoul, and went to a movie!! That's so cold!!
The groom was a major pain and not much fun. All of what he was saying, should have been said a long time ago. You're on your honeymoon, Buddy, let it go for now.
The parents of the bride are a little strange too. the mother who seems to be loving and sweet, may not be so loving and sweet.
We have a way to go to start to figure it all out. I'm up for it. It'll make more sense when I can identify who's who and what's what.
Mara, I think you're right, it seems to me that the grandmother was the wife of Ilho on FTT. She looks so different here. Also the brother was the doctor/brother on the same drama. these actors certainly stay busy, but I love seeing all of the familiar faces.
This looks good. Lots of layers. I like that, it gives the story substance. I'm a big fan of substance.
Happy watching

First of all, the girls are really cute (I think I like the one with the overbite the best.) It's also nice to finally see a mother-in-law that isn't a complete, power-hungry bi*%h for a change. And, I was actually kind of proud of the surly bride for telling Grammaw what a creep she was being. So many of these women seem to never be able to get along with anyone that it almost makes you wish they'd invoke the "rule of thumb" every now and then. Is there some kind of law that says you have to treat the newest DIL like you're the wicked stepmother and she's Cinderella?
Tradition is one thing hubby, but any fool knows; If she ain't happy, you ain't happy. Stand up for your wife already. You sure don't seem to have any problem standing up to her.
