There are many more episodes to come. Korea aired Episode 92 on Tuesday and it's no where near the end. In the past, dramas in the same time slot have always gone over 150 episodes. So sit back and enjoy this drama for the next 2-3 months.

I watched episode 47 last night, the meeting of Bridie and Groomie. Boy, he was good! He really let her have it.
Groomie doesn't beat around the bush at all. He lays it all out there, exactly what he thinks, he won't play her game. I just love him! He's so sure of himself. What a fool she was to let him go!

Bridie's marriage broke down because of her disrespect for Groomie's family. Many times she told him she didn't want to go to see them. She looked down on them but this is where Groomie comes from, he is a part of them.

Regardless of how she was brought up, she's a career accomplished adult now, deals with all kinds of people in her job, she herself knows her own parents marriage is a fake, so I can't give her a pass on how she reacts towards her husband's family.
Look at all the crap Groomie had to put up living with her mother. He became her servant. Still, Groomie tried to make the best of it.

Bridie hated Grams, I do too. But the rest of the family was nice to her. (don't remember how Bubs was.)
It may be the culture that Grams is the one in charge, but that doesn't mean Grams has to be the wicked step mom that everyone fears.
I've seen other grandmothers and mothers that were nice and sweet to the younger brides. So it's just that Grams is a nasty mean person, period.

Last night it was sickening to watch Grams and Bubs drinking and singing and what not. Bubs seemed to be sorry towards M-ja and everytime he tried to make amends with her, Grams stuck her nose in it, against M-ja. I've never seen anything like that before.
Groomie was just staring, then he even left the room in disgust.

I hope all the newbies here stay and join in a lot. Welcome to you all!

If you explain poor Eunja then I have to be kinder in my thoughts about her. Actually, it comes down to me not wanting her to be with LB. But she does have a sweetness about her. She's just too obsessive and weird when it comes to her feelings for LB.

Also, I agree with Eunhu (who knew?) that Eunha needs professional help. After Eunhu's verbal attack (and rightful accusations) towards RM it may be RM that needs professional help. She's lived all these years in her little fantasy world and wants her family to live there with her. If she is forced to face reality it may drive her over the edge!

Now that Bridey has shown compassion for her sister's situation and has faced up to and confronted her mother's manipulative behavior I suppose we'll all have to start rooting for Bridey and Groomie's reunion? DARN! I wanted Groomie to find his own Jisu.

I'm still mad at LB for not borrowing his friend's phone to at least check in with the family. Shame on him...

So Bubs had a conscience and wanted to find Mgrams? That's good but I still think he's a big baby! Him and Grams are so perfect as a mother/son.

TG is in for it. That Miae (is that her name?) is going to make TG's life a living HE**. That little girl must not have enough to keep her busy. Yet, she's doing all the housework and cooking and taking care of her baby and can still plot evil deeds? She's a real super-woman!

I wonder what her plot is to do all that housework and cooking herself. It's true that taking care of her little girl should have taken up all her time! She is indeed a super woman!

Should I say it again?! That Groomie is one good-looking guy! No wonder his ex is now feeling she had made the biggest mistake of her life.

LOL... All I can say is, if I was Bridey, my Groomie would never leave the house (notice I didn't say bedroom?) and I'd be the first one to want 'our own place'.... Of course, I'm older and MUCH wiser than Bridey!! But it does look like she's realizing what she lost....

Groomie is tied with Suky (Bizarre Bunch) as my favorite hunk to look at. There are many many K hunks but Suky/Groomie are at the top!

I have a nervous feeling that Bubs has gone back to the restaurant to stake it out and wait for MGrams and he will find out that she owns it and is wealthy. Since he is the creature he is I think he will try to make brownie points to put himself in her good graces. I know she is aware of all the background with him and Grams but she could be fooled.

I just hope she is not around for him to find her and I hope she goes off to look for the saddest young man I have ever seen. He can't even find any selfconfidence or selfworth any more. MGrams will have to rescue him and set him up somehow to recover his life and gain respect from that awful family.

Can any one fill me in on what happened towards the end of yesterday's ep ??

I ( ahem ) dozed off .I do remember Bubs and his mom going to the restaurant ,and I agree that EunJa is regreting her breakup -even though I am not sure she realizes it yet .She and SangHyeong may get back together bit I think she will have to have already moved into her own place before that happens .

I agree with Nsheldon - he is VERY spoony !!

So now EunHu is having flashbacks ....I hope we get her backstory . I am feeling more pity for her ,but without professional help ,I am afraid she is going to blow .Props to the actress because we are all picking up subtle hints .I feel uneasy when she is on the screen .

I guess it would be too much for RM to take her for counselling .

Mgrams hid when she saw Bubs coming in the restaurant. They questioned the lady that helps run it but she was cool and said Mgrams was working as a maid for someone and that was all she knew.

TG went to dinner at Prof's. Miae was overly sweet and disgusting. SHe kept calling TG 'Mother' and then told the baby to call TG 'Halmoni'. TG was pretty shocked over that. She said she hadn't thought about herself that way.

Then Miae made a remark about where TG and Prof would get married. In a hall? Oh then everyone will know it is a 2nd marriage. And her (Miae's) parents will be embarrassed by it all???? (I guess being a 2nd marriage).

It showed Jisu giving Miae a little piece of her mind about being obvious in her little game she was playing with TG. After Jisu walked away Miae had a smug little look on her face and she said something to the effect they had no idea what she has in mind for them.

M-ja came back from the hospital and had a CAT scan. She won't get the results for a few days but her hubby said he wanted to go with her when she gets the results.

Bridey (not sure if you saw this part Addie) came home and text messaged Groomie. He tried to call her back shortly after (stupid) and Bridey had stepped out of her bedroom but RM was in there. She answered the phone and told Groomie to quit calling and that they were over and he had no right to call, etc... Bridey came in as RM hung up and she was furious over her mother saying what she did to Groomie. She then let go... blaming her mother for all their woes. Telling her it was her fault for the problems her and Groomie had and all of Eunha's problems too.

RM was horrified by what Bridey was saying. Then Eunha and dads overheard and came in the room. Bridey sat down in frustration. Funny, they are making Bridey very mature and sensible lately. Where'd that come from?

Jisu left another message for LB, telling him TG and Prof were getting married and she hoped he would come to the wedding. She told him she wasn't going to call him anymore.

It showed LB and his friend in bed. LB couldn't sleep. He went outside and was thinking of Jisu. He said, "Jisu, let's play" and he was almost in tears.

Oh, Mgrams called the house because she's trying to keep them from looking for her. She talked to Grams. She said she had an easy maid job and Grams asked for the ph#. Mgrams said they (the family she was maid for ) don't want calls coming in. She said she was doing fine and would call again and then hung up before Mgrams could get M-ja on the phone. At least Mgrams 'said' she was going to have M-ja talk to Mgrams.

Eunha at the academy... class ul After class, Eunha opens her cellphone and stares at the photo of LB. She sends him a text message full of pitiful sounding questions. class center *****At the farm in their room... class ul Mr. Wang (is that his name?) is talking on his cellphone while LB is reading. He offers the phone to LB to use. He takes it and it looks as though he starts to dial a number but perhaps can't remember it (too used to speed dialing?). He gives the phone back to Mr. Wang. class center *****After TG leaves Prof's and Miae says to Jiung that she's going to become even more scarier... class ul Jiung goes to Jisu's room and scolds her about something... probably about getting in his wife's face and calling her on her phoniness. Jisu takes it then throws something back in Jiung's face. He gets embarrassed then starts raising his voice to her. Jisu argues back and Jiung gets so mad that he raises his arm to hit her! Just at that moment, Prof walks in and sees his son about to hit his sister. Of course, wimpy Jiung checks himself immediately and acts all innocent and humble, trying to laugh it off.

Prof talks seriously to both of them about getting along. Jiung puts his arms around Jisu's shoulders as though he's really all lovey-dovey towards her. Jisu goes along with it; Prof leaves the room. Jisu punches Jiung in the ribs as she glares at him. He doesn't say a word. class center *****

I missed everything from Bridey's text message on !! I really appreciate the recap .I don't blame EunJa for letting loose on her mom ,though it is in no way all her fault for their breakup - I guess Briday is not ready to take a look at her own shortcomings yet !!

MuJeoung just needs more time .I don't knowif anyone can answer this question .MuYoung was raised by the Kim family : is it too late for them to add him to their family register ?

It seems that that would clear up a lot of the grief he has about the situation ,and it would stop outsiders form constantly questioning his place in the family .
