Personally, I call this drama "Sky." But you all settle into whatever you find most comfortable.
The rooftop apartment. Is it really the same one? I thought, oh another rooftop, how cool, but it didn't look the same to me as in Pure in Heart. Guess I'll have to check it out more closely in future episodes.

I am in southern California, and KBS can be seen through the local broadcast channel 44 for those without cable or satellite.
I do have DishNetwork though, and besides providing 44 with my local channels, they also list KBS World via their satellite access on either channels 652 or 9850 for this part of the US, so theoretically, I should have a couple of different options for picking up KBS. However, I've never tried either 652 or 9850, so I don't know for sure if those channels work or not.
I also love the digital dvr that comes with my satellite access, so I've set my Korean dramas to just record automatically (and very clearly) so if I am running late getting home at night, or even if I am away on a trip for a week or more, I never have to miss an episode! Isn't it wonderful that such technological advances exist to support my addiction?

oldschooler...KBS 652 is excellent since they do not have commercials and the shows are slightly ahead of channel 44. Also, you can get 18 which also carries Asian shows.

Talking during coffee, he pulls out a white box and puts it on the table. She doesn't take it, so he opens it and shows her it is a ring. She is not enthused about it. They talk (he talks, she mostly listens). She slowly offers her hand to him and he slips the ring on her finger. class center *****Jonghun is late meeting Myeongsu because of his dancing lesson. After they eat, he is driving her home...

He is happily babbling along while she is miserable because she loves him and he is oblivious to it. Perhaps he is also telling her to reconsider the guy at work who wants to date her? Whatever Jonghun is saying, it is making Myeongsu feel worse.
Finally he stops to drop her off where she lives. She gets out of the car, looks incredibly sad, he smiles and happily waves at her, then drives off. She is so sad she begins to cry and just stands there on the street corner. As he drives away, he looks at her in his rear-view mirror.
The look on his face is completely opposite from how he looks and acts in her presence. I think he DOES know her feelings and feels bad for her standing there alone so heartbroken. I get the impression he knows she's in love with him but he's pretending not to know. Perhaps he wants her to find a more suitable match for herself since she's never been married and he has been, plus the age difference, plus his two children. class center *****Jisu has returned from her date with Yeongmin. She sits at her desk, looking at the ring he has given her this night...

Episode one aired here last night. Starting with a wedding, wedding night and honeymoon, I feel like I'm half-way home already. I've learned so much about a culture that was completely foreign to me, but also learned not to generalize. What I accepted as typically Korean from one drama was refuted in another. I'm a rather new viewer (most of BB, all of PIH, and still on ICP) but I figure offhand that I've seen 9 weddings. This new one showed unfamiliar traditions. It is a rich and interesting culture.
I liked Park Hae Jin a little more so far, seeing him not crying or running or crying and running.
It would be too soon for Peg to get to a computer, but we'll keep her in our prayers and hope to hear good news soon.
