with Friday's teaser, I don't think I would enjoy watching this anymore. I don't get LB - he is not being honest on either Eunha and jisu - he is not being honest with himself either. But I am still hopeful him and Jisu would end up together.
I am hoping Groomie would stick to his principle - I don't like to see him getting back together with Eunju; also, I hope Bubs just disappear - he has no manners nor consideration - especially when talking to either his own mother and LB. I hope my gut feeling is right that their mother is really rich - and I want to see how Bubs is going to handle that. I just hate his character - same way I hate Eunju's and her mother.

Aprilnyc, thanks SO MUCH for letting us know what the document deal was about between Bubs and Groomie, and the scene of Eunju drunk and what she was telling her parents.
It didn't seem to me a marriage document would scare Groomie so much, but I completely forgot about when Groomie secretly bailed LB out of jail. Wow. What terrible information for Bubs to have. He can never keep his big mouth shut, and worse, he has no goodness of heart to WANT to keep his mouth shut. We can expect Bubs to use this as a big sledgehammer on poor LB's head one of these days... probably at the least desirable time for LB.
As for what Eunju said to her parents, I wonder what effect this will have on Jaedu? Having the truth of his life/marriage dumped on him by his drunk daughter is rather painful, I'd think. Parents have their secrets but somehow think (hope) they hide the deep inner truths from their children. Unfortunately, children usually see us more clearly than we see ourselves. As for Bubs; he needs to be chained up in the backyard like that poor little dog on PIH. What a pathetic loser. He, RM, and the Professor's son and dil should all be forced to live together. They can sit around snarling at each other and fighting over every minute detail of their daily lives and morsal food that comes their way. Snowcone can come take Bubs for his daily outing dressed in those silly clothes and goggles! Perfect!

That was a good one ncristi! I think about Snowcone when I'm about to give up on ridiculous character's like the various mil's, and two sisters in this drama. Snowcone showed us that even spoiled "princesses" can turn things around if they're really "pure in heart" and become influenced by the right people. These people seem much more severe than the folks from the last drama though. Let's just hope that they capable of being saved.
Also, as much as I like the character of LB, I must admit that he could do a lot better job of clearing up the confusion made possible by the mixed signals and lack of committment on his part regarding the two girls. Jisu is level-headed and will come out okay, but Eunha is a completely different story. I still like her 'cause she does seem sweet, but she's so fragile owing to poor such parenting that we could see her head spinning a around like Linda Blair at the slightest disappointment.

I'm finally caught up and I like this show so far. This is very typical of the KBS daily drama where there are always 3 families involved and everyone is related some how to one another.
Both the actresses and the actors are easy on the eyes and they can act.
The relationship between EH/MY/JS is a frustrating one and it'll get worse as the drama progresses. MY doesn't know how to steer himself clear of EH if he really likes JS.
As for the relationship between the aunt and JS's father, things are going a little too well for them. I'm waiting for the other shoes to drop!

class p Episode 38 (Monday) - Deleted Scenes
After the M- & Grams visit to RM, RM calls Eunju at work and tells her not to ever get back together with Groomie. The next scene cuts to Groomie at work... class ul As he types on his keyboard, he notices his wedding ring on his hand. He pauses, slides the ring off to look at it. At that instant his phone rings and he quickly pops the ring into his pocket and grabs his phone. It is his father-in-law. It is a friendly conversation. (Maybe Jaedu is just checking up on his SIL and trying to keep a connection with him. ?) The call ends and Groomie sits there in a troubled mood. class center *****Meanwhile, over at the Nari restaurant.... class ul M-Ja is sitting with Taesik. She's quietly upset after the call from RichMom. Taesik tries to console her. Just then Grams and M-Grams walk in. M-Ja jumps up and starts yelling at her mother, doubtless "How could you do this!" type conversation. Grams' first word is "Aigoo." She acts as though she's the offended one and argues with M-Ja. M-Ja tears into Grams. Taesik tries to calm down his wife, but she's too upset.
M-Ja then turns to M-Grams and chews her out, too. M-Grams apologizes to M-Ja, but Grams starts yelling in opposition. M-Grams tries to calm down Grams but she and M-Ja continue to argue loudly. Finally, M-Ja flips out and screams at Grams, who stops and looks at her daughter. "Aigoo, okay" she replies, hurls more at M-Ja and stomps out of the restaurant. M-Grams apologizes again and leaves, too.
Taesik gently scolds M-Ja for what she has said to Grams and M-Grams, but M-Ja won't have any of it. She goes to the phone and calls Eunju, wanting to meet with her. Eunju agrees. class center *****Bubs in the living room, playing cards by himself... class ul Grams and M-Grams enter. Bubs wants to know what's wrong and Grams starts in. M-Grams says something countering Grams again, so Grams turns her usual fury onto M-Grams. Then M-Grams says something that causes both Bubs and Grams to look at her in surprise. ? Maybe M-Grams is thinking out loud that if they had bought an apartment for the newlyweds, maybe they wouldn't have split up. The reaction of Bubs, in particular, is that he against smells money and is wondering if M-Grams isn't secretly rich. M-Grams quickly catches herself and looks as though she's dismissing the idea that she has money... she's just "what if-ing."
Grams wants to go somewhere and insists that M-Grams go with her. They leave the apartment. class center *****After Eunha and Jisu have lunch together and LB calls... class ul LB is leaving the lunch place and receives a call from RichMom. She wants to meet him. LB is worried and uncomfortable. class center *****

class p Episode 39 (Tuesday) - Deleted Scenes
After the scene of Jaedu meeting with Groomie, RichMom is serving dinner to Eunju... class ul Looks as though RM has laid out a feast of 8-9 dishes before Eunju, who is ravenously stuffing her face [don't tell me she's pregnant...]. When Eunju asks for a second bowl of rice, RM looks concerned. Eunju is overly happy at this time... maybe she's just eating out of emotional reaction to being so upset at Groomie for putting his ring on the table. class center *****At Prof's, he's studying in den when Jisu brings him something to drink... class ul She lingers and he asks her if something is wrong. She denies it and leaves. Meanwhile, TangoGirl is working at her desk in bedroom, is missing Prof. She calls him. They banter back and forth. He teases her and laughs. The call ends with her becoming frustrated and him laughing more. (Next scene is Sonny Boy & Family moving in.) class center *****Groomie arrives home to TG... class ul They have a brief exchange that ends with Groomie smiling and happy. His parents come home and are warm to him. Two grams are still missing (at the sauna). M-Ja doesn't bat an eyelash about the missing elders. She's got her mom's number and frankly, doesn't give a d***.
In his bedroom, Bubs is putting on a necktie (over his running suit) and is practicing his English. "Hi. Nice to meet you. I want to share America." [His English is better than a lot of actors, I must say.]
In comes Groomie. Bubs puts on another tie and makes the knot. They talk. Bubs eventually says something that annoys Groomie and they argue. Groomie gets up and walks out. Bubs turns back to his mirror... "Hi. Nice to meet you." class center *****RichMom brings tea into Jaedu's study.... class ul He is undressing, she picks up his coat and smells alcohol (?) on it, asks him about it. He is not sloppy drunk, but clearly buzzed. RM gives him her usual lecture. He mentions both Groomie and Eunju. My guess is RM is telling him to cut off his connection with Groomie and focus on Eunju. This is a long conversation. It eventually changes to where both of them look half-way happy and smiley toward the other. She finishes her wifely duties towards him and leaves. class center *****

You know ,I may not get a chance to watch this every day ,but I have reached a point where I am recording it and watching it when I can ,
I just caught up on the last 2 nights eps ,and it feels like there is a lot going to happen soon .
Although I find Gram bit rough around the edges ,I don't blame her for going to tell off Rmom ...I don't think for a minute that she would internalize or take any of it to heart- but I am kind of glad that Gram put it out there .
It seems that Muyoung has come close to a declaration to Jisu ,and Eunju seems mystified that Sanghyeoung would feel any bitterness towards her .
I think those two are poster children for the fact that Love may not be enough for a marriage .They also married under false pretenses - neither sharing what their thoughs and expectations .
Excuse me if this has already come out ,but now that I have KBS America,I am watching this there too .It is about 20 eps behind ,but there was a scene where EunJu is taking a BC pill ,and SangHyeoung sees her . He apparently didn't know about that ( must have been a deleted scene )
Of course ,we probably all know someone who got pregnant while taking the pill , too .
I am really looking forward to what JiSu has to say ,though she is starting to realize she has feelings for MY ,is she on the same page as he is ?? This being Kdrama ,nothing will be easy
