Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
Wow, that is amazing, I thought that the Yoon Eun-Hye (The lead actress of both 'Man in the Vineyard' and 'Princess Hours' had the most beautiful pair of lips that I've ever seen!
I also think that "Jisu" is so naturally gorgeous. I'd hate to think of how they might ruin her look if she worked in the the USA.
It's really sad how they tend to want to mutilate people in order to get them to look how the folks who don't buy tickets want them to look. We would never have gotten esposed Goo Hye Sun or the woman who plays Jisu if the corporate suits (like the ones who run Hollywood) had made the final decision.

Guess I'll go do the deleteds from tonight....
Episode 26 (Thursday) - Deleted Scenes
After M-Ja is comforting TG in her room, Bubs and Taesik alone drinking in their restaurant (before Taesik leaks out the secret)... class ul Bubs is complaining about the situation as usual. Taesik is smiling and taking it all with a grain of salt. They salute each other and keep on drinking...
Meanwhile, M-Grams is still following Grams, a brief comedic moment. class center *****The newlyweds return to the Rich House... class ul Eunju comes bolting in, rapidly walks past her mother without speaking, and goes up to their room. Groomie stops and greets his MIL, hands her the food gifts his family has sent over. RM in the kitchen opening the several boxes of specially prepared foods. Her reaction is dead (about the same as how she reacts to her husband). She's neither impressed nor happy. She looks up to the room and is worried about what must have happened to Eunju for her to act this way. The next scene is RM standing outside their bedroom hearing them argue about splitting up. class center *****Tango Girl alone at her desk in her bedroom... class ul TG takes a small photo album from a drawer. She pulls out a picture of her standing beside the prof when she was first his student. She rubs the pictures, and fights back the tears.
Prof is at home on the phone (can't make out with whom). The call ends and he sits there with his coffee and paper on the table. He looks down and concerned.Meanwhile, Jisu is sitting alone in the lobby of a movie theater complex, eating a hamburger and coke... class ul She flashes back to LB carrying Eunha on his back; to them walking together in the theater lobby, Eunha happily having her arm through his; to LB looking back over his shoulder at Jisu left behind alone.Cut to LB walking Eunha home... class ul Once again she's got her arm through his, chatting away, looking admiringly up into his face. They reach her place and say good-bye. LB is anxious to go on his way. Eunha calls to him and when he turns around she cheerfully waves to him... he waves back and smiles. But as he turns to go, Eunha catches his expression drop and takes note of it.
As LB continues walking alone, he pulls out his cellphone. He wants to call Jisu and almost presses the button... but stops himself. class center *****Previews
Looks as though RM has thrown in the trash all the holiday food prepared by Groomie's family. When Groomie goes to put something in the trash, he sees it full of his family's gift food. Looks like he asks her about it. [He ought to toss RM and her #1 daughter in the trash bin, too!]

Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
I second that vote on the most beautiful lips... Iceman from PIH...
nchristi explained RM and Bridey perfectly when she said, "Both were raised in very rich families and were protected from dealing with situations, or people, or obligations that they didn't like. They were always made comfortable so they expect that is their right and no one should try to force them to do otherwise. As Jaedu said, RichMom handles all obligations, including familial ties, by throwing money at everybody—never "dirtying" her own hands with personal involvement.
Neither RM or Bridey realize how selfish and cruel they are. Neither are capable of taking one for the team. I've had to do an awful lot of things for the sake of someone else. We all have. That's what you do in life. It's give and take. These two women don't understand that concept.
WOW... RM is going to throw away the food that Groomie's family sent? He needs to dump that worthless wife. I bet he will leave that house but I don't see him and Bridey staying apart. I think the Korean dramas try to show people learning lessons. So I think they'll have our Bridey change over time (like Mchil on ICP)... But right now, I can't stand to even look at Bridey's face. I see nothing attractive about her. She is always pouting. It isn't one of those cute pouty looks either. It's a downright mean snarly looking pout.
I know that Eunha is a pretty nice girl. SHe always sees how mean her mother and sister treat Groomie. Eunha seems to know that you have to treat people you love with respect. She is more like her father. BUT... I think she still has something scary wrong with her... She seems to have an obsessive personality. She latched on to LB in a flash and acts totally in love with him. She doesn't even know him.. It was like she became obsessed with him the minute she met him.
And I really like Jisu and LB together. Because they are friends first. They just seem so right to me..
Poor TG. I'm afraid if the Prof finds out her mother is against them he will back out. He seems too proper to go against her mother's wishes.

K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
I really don't find Jisu as attractive as some of the other leading actresses, but then looks do not make an actress a good actress. There have been actresses who would not be classified as good looking, but are outstanding and very interesting actresses.

Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
Eunha is an overly protected, coddled young girl who is experiencing what appears to be her first visit to the "candy store" with no restrictions. LB was sitting alone, he was polite and Eunha is so starving for acceptance and love, (not to mention her immaturity) that she is misreading LB's kindness for "love" and "attraction". She's bound to get hurt but she will grow up through this experience with LB as I see him as a compassionate yet level-headed young man and he will handle her gently and appropriately.
I hope Groomie doesn't lose his spine under the pressure of RM. It's either now or never for him to get his marriage on the right track. Leave that girl already!

K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
I think Jisu has the most beautiful female smile in this drama.
Also I agree IM was the best male smile in PIH. that I miss very much.
Eunha is a bit obsessed with LB, but she is a sweet girl, not like Eunju, so spoil, how could she leave the groomie's house in the middle of the night. She is deserve to get scold by m-gram.
RM so low class, and so not smart, threw away the holiday food in the trash would get groomie to see?? at least she should use a lot of gabage bags to hide it, since groomie's job is throw gabage away.
I think RM so unbalance, and cold, since the husband wanted to be with her when she was crying, she just brushed him away, then why she complain that she did not know her husband was on tv, needed her friend to tell her.

Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
Happy rainy Friday morning to everyone in LA/OC! It has been so long since we've had rain that it is truly wonderful. About to grab some café au lait and go sit outside and just sit there enjoying it! My two little fur persons will be excited to "get outside," only to find this shocking wetness on their little footies. Then they'll sit there together on the threshhold sniffing all the great new smells wafting through the air. (For those of you on our freeways, may the concrete ribbon gods smooth out the path before you and make everyone drive sanely. )
Eunha... It seems to me that LB and Jisu really love one another, it just hasn't yet reached Jisu's consciousness. I think LB is clear on his feelings for her but, as others have said, he doesn't see himself worthy of a relationship with any one—especially a girl like Jisu, whom he values and respects so highly.
I think curly carrot said it well... class blockquote Eunha is an overly protected, coddled young girl who is experiencing what appears to be her first visit to the "candy store" with no restrictions.Eunha is completely inexperienced and ecstatic at her first "love" experience. Since she's been so terribly sheltered all her life, she doesn't have any past experience or knowledge or wisdom on how to act in this circumstance.
My fear is the skeleton in her closet is a major mental instability that jumps out when LB tries to seriously wean her off of him. I fear Eunha will go into a suicidal depression and others (including LB himself) will force LB to be there for her, to save her. I don't expect her to do mean things to Jisu or anybody else... I think she will just withdraw from life too severely if she can't have LB—especially if she sees him in a relationship with Jisu.
Since Eunha makes everyone "promise" to do this or that with her, there will be huge guilt trips for all involved. Jisu will feel guilty if she has feelings for LB. LB will feel guilty about hurting Eunha. RichMom will accept anything to keep Eunha "happy" (like marrying her off to LB and forcing him to comply). But there will be one ecstatic person... Bubs! He'll be another shoulder closer to MONEY!
Most disturbing scene last night.... The look on Bridey's face when she came out of the bath and found Groomie asleep on top of the covers. Wow. That look she gave him was about 10x worse than anything RichMom throws at Jaedu. It seemed as though she completely and absolutely detested him. People don't have that look on their faces even when they first discover their pet had an "accident" on the bed!
How did all of you read that? Was it an expression of her true feelings towards him? Or was she just annoyed that he was asleep and couldn't pay attention to her? ??

Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
It seems as if Bridey is her mother's daughter, and Eunhu is her father's. One has learned from a master instructor the art of being cold, controlling, and snobby, while the other is a bit more accepting and thoughtful. Eunhu has indeed been coddled and protected, to the point of isolation, and is over-the-moon that LB was immediately cordial and helpful to her. She needs a little time in the real world and will eventually give in the force that Jisu is now becoming aware of regarding the two old friends. How dad could be so cool when his wife is so shrewish is beyond me. He must have a workshop out back or a "reading room" where he can be by himself as opposed to being alone together with his spouse.
Tango Girl's mother is a real piece of work. This "second wife" and "he's too old" rant is just beyond comprehension. The professor is just over 50 and TG is nearing 40. What's the beef? The guy has a good job, respect in the community, one good kid, and one crummy kid. TG's mom runs a respectful business but is disrespectful and suspicious of nearly everyone she meets. At least TG won't have an overbearing mil to push her around like her mom does to Bridey. Bridey has her own problems, but these older hens don't ever seem to be much help by always offering very little carrot and too much stick during their training sessions.
The actress that plays Jisu has a natural beauty, much like Goo Hye-Sun, and the same ability to produce a radiant smile without benefit of the surgeon's knife or several thousand dollars of dental work. Many of the actresses that we see in these dramas, and especially here in the United States, carry very few original parts. It would be a crime against nature to have some team of experts pressuring any of this new wave of girl-next-door types into carving themselves into the kind of bizzare, disproportioned, caricatures of the femimine "ideal" we've had thrown at us for so many years.

robbo4...Who is Goo Hye-Sun?
At this point, do we know who has been made better looking by surgery. All performers wear make up when being film or photographed and special lenses used so it may all be moot.
