Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
I also think that old schooler pretty much hit the nail on the head on most or all intuitions. It appears that LB and Giggly Girl are playing the Uggie-Snowcone roles, complete with the uppity mil. (Liked the Scarlett O'Hara reference, old schooler!) The Professor and TG are similar (but very, very different from) to Punggu and Flower Lady, and the sweet and lovely Jisu and her boyfriend are Gukwha and (also a very different) Yunhu.
I don't really care if the formulas to these light comedy/romances are similar to one another. I just enjoy seeing all of the pretty people and having the jaded ones straightened out by the ones who are pure.
Just like it should be in real life.
Glad to hear the good news about brad6! Hope that she's back up and watching real soon.

K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
why OC and Bubs dislike LB, was LB really really bad, so they don't like him, I just don't see how bad he is, or his image pretty normal, I would say attahtive than anything. he nice to dad and mom - help out at the restaurtant and very polite to OC and LB, even TG. So I don't really think he is the black sheep in this family at all.

K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
We don't know the background or behavior of LB before the story started. Maybe, everyone is reacting to him because of past actions.

Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
My guess (hope) is that Jisu (prof's daughter) and Muyeong (LB) will end up together.
Jisu - I think she's been in love with him forever but she's at an age where she has to get serious about marrying someone. With LB gone so long, she just kind of went with the flow when the rich boyfriend (What IS his name?) pursued her and is serious about marrying her. Though Jisu is fond of the RBF (rich boyfriend), she doesn't love him. And clearly, she does not want the completely dissatisfying life she'd have if she married into his family. She is so clear on this that she has told RBF that she doesn't want that life and that it won't work out for them. That's a big step.
Muyeong (LB) - I think his heart is with Jisu but, as stated above, he doesn't have the proper "conditions" to feel qualified to marry her. His "conditions" are exponentially worse when it comes to Eunhwa, RichMom's daughter. So, I can't imagine him pursuing Eunhwa. Not to mention that he would be marrying into his older brother's (Groomie) family. Can you imagine how miserable Muyeong would be if he had to be under his older brother's thumb like that? They can't even have a two-minute converation in peace. Yikes!
On being the "black sheep of the family," LB is a nice person. Other family members (OC and Bubs, in particular) have made him into the "black sheep" by treating him and rejecting him so cruelly since he was a child. Any kid would have a negative reaction to that treatment. I think there must be some personal resentment going on toward his mother or parents. People don't usually hate a child so much unless there's some personal issue between his birth parent(s) and the adoptee family. Maybe he's the son of a younger woman OC's husband had an affair with, or something like that. ???
Eunhwa - My guess is that Eunhwa will be crazy in love with LB, pursuing him relentlessly. He already knows she is from a very wealthy family but, of course, since families in K-dramas don't mix, it may be a very long time before either Eunhwa or LB put two and two together, that Groomie is LB's brother. I will be surprised if LB falls for her; though she may get him into some compromising postion because she is so forceful in going after what she wants.
Edit
Prof and Tango Girl - I suspect Prof really cares for TG, that's why he got riled up with his daughter's questions. Prof's actions are that he spends a huge amount of time with TG—you'd think they were in a romantic relationship already. So he wants to be with her, but he thinks it is wrong for some reason. I think he fools himself and doesn't really want to face a big decision: If he does not want to marry her, or doesn't love her, then he should end his relationship with her. It is actually quite selfish and cruel of him to keep her by his side with no hope of marriage—especially since he is clearly aware of how much she loves him and wants to marry him. (After 20 years, wouldn't you kinda maybe realize it is just a tad more than a schoolgirl crush on her teacher?) His daughter's questions bring him uncomfortably close to having to think about what he's doing.

Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
class p Episode 10 (Wed) - Deleted Scenes
Breakfast at the Rich Family.... class ul Eunhwa is happy and excited, the whole family lights up and is laughing. Then RichMom, in her sweet spider way starts giving sugar-coated orders to Groomie. Dad doesn't like it. Groomie doesn't like it, either, but agrees as usual. Dad gets up and is going to work. Everyone leaves the table except Eunhwa and Groomie. Eunhwa seems to be supportive of her brother-in-law, and they both laugh and are happy. [He should have married her!]
In her bedroom, Eunju (bride) is ready to leave for work. She quickly takes a pill. Groomie walks in, she hands him a tie she wants him to wear. He puts it on and they both leave. The camera pans down to her dresser. The box of pills looks like birth control. She has forgotten to put them away.
Groomie and Eunju are in the car (she's driving). They talk for a while. ? Then he asks her to drop him off in front of a building. She drives off, making what looked like a slightly derogatory comment. class center *****Prof and RichDad (Jaedu) in RD's office... class ul Prof shows Jaedu the back scratcher Tango Girl gave to him when they parted after their little talk. Jaedu tries it out and likes how it works. He laughs and Prof smiles. They joke around about it (where he got it?). Jaedu hands it back to Prof, who puts it down his own back and tries it out. They both laugh. class center *****Note
Looks as though crunchyroll.com has only eleven episodes of this drama, so that's one more source that's bit the dust. We still have the KBS VODs. If anyone comes across another source (with or without subs), please let me know.

Re: K-Drama: 하늘만큼 땅만큼 (As Much As Heaven and Earth/High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth)
Hi Everybody - glad to be back. Tuned out on PIH - just could not watch it - but I so enjoyed the comments and NChristi - thankyou so much for all the deleted scences.
So far this one looks good and I am hoping to soon get everyone sorted out - I wish I could make them wear Post-its with their nicknames on them for a few more episodes!
RE: Prof - boy, seems like he is playing a similar role to that in Seoul 1945. Of course in that drama the revolution took first place from love for Jong-Ja. I love TG and and want them to be together but I guess they have to go through quite a few twists and turns before that can happen - keeping my fingers crossed.
As for OC - does anybody remember Mean Granny in One Million Roses? She was just horrid to Minjae and I remember wondering how anyone could be so cruel to another human being, related or not. And in the end, Minjae saved the day - maybe LB will too!

I don't know what "OC" refers to. I think, there is more to the family disliking LB.
