class p Episode 9 (Tues) - Deleted Scenes
Tango Girl has been waiting at the restaurant a long time, having expected him at 9p... class ul TG is a nervous wreck, talking to herself and rehearsing what she's going to say if and when Prof gets there. She has only a glass of water, but he is late and she is so stressed out she orders something a little stronger.
Meanwhile, Prof's meeting has concluded and the participants leave. He sits down with his assistant (the guy who wanted the blind date with TG) and they start going over the meeting notes. Suddenly he remembers Tango Girl. He looks at his watch and realizes he is very late. He quickly gathers up his papers and leaves. Back at the restaurant, Tango Girl has polished off three full bottles of beer (?) and the server has brought two more. While she's working on bottle #4, Prof is stuck in a traffic jam and is distressed. class center *****At the Kim household... class ul Bubs has a tape measure around his neck and Grams is holding up a red suit jacket. Can't tell if clothes for her or for him, but he doesn't like the item, gets up and leaves the room.
Myeongja and her husband are in their room. He receives a phone call. He is happy. Mom seems apprehensive but patronizingly supportive of her husband. Knock on the door... Bubs enters. They all joke around a little, then Grams comes rushing in all excited about a pair of black dress slacks. Bubs like them, too. He gets up and measures Gram's waist. (Is he a tailor?) class center *****At the academy with Muyeong and Jisu, class has ended, nealry everyone has left the room... class ul Eunhwa takes out the "lunch" RichMom made for her (the one she didn't eat because Groomie took her out and they ate at a restaurant). She opens it up. Muyeong (LB) gets up to leave, she grabs his sleeve and pulls him back down into his chair. She insists that he eat it... she shoves a half sandwich into his face, forcing him to take it. He is starving and begins to eat. Eunhwa's phone rings. It is RichMom. Eunhwa quickly hands him the other half of the sandwich, closes up the boxes and runs out of the room.
Outside, Muyeong watches Eunhwa get into the ritzy car driven by RichMom. He looks a little discouraged seeing she is a super-rich girl. He calls Jisu (Prof's daughter). She's at the park and wants him to come to talk. class center *****

I can't tell what the Prof daughter feels for LB. She seems to just look at him as a very close friend. Maybe best friends. But other than that she hasn't shown anything beyond friendship towards him.

Well, the Old Cow seems to only care about that worthless cry baby son
of hers. She's a hard woman to like. So childish! I like her (Jisu) with LB as well. Sometimes best friends become lovers. Why did Jisu gave up on the bf without a fight......maybe deep down...he is not the love of her life....
Old Cow?.....good one......She is such a pain.....the way she treats Myeongja and LB......one would think that MyeongJa was adopted and so is LB so she has no love for them .....and has no need to show any affection.... ... not showing affection is one thing,but the cow bone soup incident just shows how petty and downright mean she is......
Already my 3 least favourite characters:
1.Old Cow
2.Bubs - like mother like son. What reason does he have to be mean
to LB? Poor LB has to share a room with him.
3. RichMom - must be a reason why husband sleeping in different
bedroom in same house.

I guess one way of erasing our doubts about the relationship between the petty grandma and the cry baby son is to go back to her own statement regarding Meongja's relationship with LB. LB is not Meongja's real son - and petty grandma or Old Cow said in the first episode that "you tend to get closer to the one you raise than your own. Old Cow is probably in the same situation.

OK. Here are my early predictions at this point.
Mystery granny is looking for her lost grandson who was given up for adoption by the boy's biological parents. I think Lost Boy was that child. Mystery granny and Cow Bone granny will be stunned to find out they are connected by LB.
LB will find unconditional love from Mystery Granny, the only biological relative he has, and will also find that he really does love the mother and father who adopted him too, and they will show him the same love and respect as they do for their natural born son. Hmmm? Does Mystery granny have a LOT of money stashed away, and will she also be accepted by LB's adoptive family too, and share the money?
Rich mom married a distinguished man of education, but came to the conclusion later that she married 'beneath her station' as Scarlett O'Hara would have proclaimed as Tara burned. Now Rich mom feels her daughter has also married a man beneath their positon of wealth in the community. Isn't her name Nara? Oh yeah, wrong drama. 
Rich mom's husband, all alone in his bedroom, likes his respectful and honorable son in law, and has the foresight to see that the new son in law could end up repeating his own sad marriage, and is encouraging son in law to move out, to have a loving and independent marriage without interference by MIL's manipulations, before it is too late.
LB will end up with the giggly girl in his class even though she annoys him a little now. He will earn the respect of his adoptive parents.
LB's first crush/best friend will end up married to the rich boyfriend who seems to genuinely care for her and her values, and will prove to her that he is more down to earth than the rest of his moneyed family. Wait! Do I see MIL Nara here?
Of course, these dramas have so many twists and turns, I would never take a bet on any of my own predictions. I could be soooo WRONG about all my guesses!

Seems our MG is playing a game now. She KNOWS who all these people are. Before she tried to hide from LB's mother. She was afraid she'd be recognized. Now she is playing like, "OMG, IT'S YOU, DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM?".. For whatever reason, MG has decided to reveal herself and see what comes of it. I suppose, if she really were poor with no where to go, they could put her in the room with TG and OC (Old Cow)...
I pretty much agree with what you say Old Schooler. I also think the bf really does care a lot for the Prof's daughter. But I really like her and LB together. But, I really don't know the characters enough yet so I could easily change my mind. The giggly girl is actually a very nice person and she would be a good match for LB too. Except her mother, RM (Rich Mom) would have a COW if her youngest daughter married even LOWER than her first daughter did. At least the first daughter married a man who had an education, even though he is poor. LB really is a lost soul at this point.
I felt bad for TG. She did manage to let the Prof know her feelings but he seemed very put out by it even though he always knew how she felt. I wonder if he really does feel the same about her (he keeps seeing her) but he feels she would be better off with someone else. Maybe since he was married before and has children he doesn't feel it would be fair to be with TG. Maybe he doesn't want more children? I suppose we'll find out as we go.
