Re: K-drama: 진짜 진짜 좋아해 (Really Really Like You)

class blockquote You should be able to rent the complete drama on DVD with english subtitles (MBC America subtitles) at selected Korean video rental stores.

I'm currently watching Jumong and Over the Rainbow on DVD. Really Really Like You finished releasing about 2 weeks ago at the store.
Oh my son loves Jumong. Does anyone know of any good Korean (and/or Japanese) video rental stores in the Los Angeles area - Downtown, Koreatown,Culver City, Santa Monica?

We finally got an All Region DVD Player

Anyway back to the show ..... ooooohhh that cook irks me.

K-drama: 진짜 진짜 좋아해 (Really Really Like You)

I know the episode hasn't ended yet, but just to let you guys know there were 2 segments of cut scenes. The first one contained no dialogue. The second contained very little dialogue, but still nonetheless, quite important, especially to the end of tonight's episode.

I'll have the cut scenes up sometime early tomorrow...my eyes are so tired right now.

The length of the last 4 episodes are longer than the lengths in EP 1-30...since tomorrow is a Thurs, I don't even want to think just what and how much will be cut.

Re: K-drama: 진짜 진짜 좋아해 (Really Really Like You)

Goodness, absolutely amazing episode in my opinion - tugged every one of my emotions. Bong-Gi was hilarious doing the karaoke, and after that... I cried, so hard. Lee Min-Ki is an amazing actor, he did that scene so well, though he has done every scene in the entire series flawlessly!

Man, I knew from the previews that Bong-Soon would show up late and cause them to probably not go swimming, but I was really looking forward to seeing Bong-Gi in a bathingsuit (was secretly rooting for him to buy a speedo)! I don't think I could be any more in love with the character and the actor at this point. I was also close to crying at the end when Bong-Gi was depressingly waiting for Bong-Soon at the end - how dare she stand him up!

And I cannot stand that cook Min-Ah, what a freak with an attitude problem and a need for anger management. She is acting so over-the-top and it's making me even angrier that Bong-Soon is putting up with it - if it were me I'd go straight to that sweet old head chef and report to him everything she's done. I hope by the end of the series that brat gets fired.

I cannot wait until tomorrow, though I am disappointed that a lot of scenes are going to get cut, gosh darnit...

I agree with you Caitlinnn. This has got to be one of the best episodes. Terrific acting by Lee Min-Ki. The karaoke scene got to me too, especially when Dr. Chang went to hug Bong-gi. And we finally find out what happened to BG's mother... just so sad.

Why did the people in the pool run for cover when it started raining? They were already wet. LOL! emoticon

The natto eating scene was just NASTY! I think I make that same face as Bong-soon when I even think about natto. My grandmother used to eat it with rice all the time. Anyone who has ever eaten the stuff would know what I'm talking about. It's funny because I enjoy miso, but natto... I'll pass! emoticon

his mother's memorial day: Bong-gi will always recall what he didn't do that night.
his mother's b-day: the feeling of being an unfilial son
his b-day: he shouldn't have survived to celebrate his next b-day.

It's also interesting that, again, Bong-gi has to reveal a part of himself that he had taken very well care of to hide in order for the other person to realize their own situation (previously it was Bong-gi telling Bong-soon that he killed his mom).

And there was that cross-purpose talk again. Bong-gi was clearly referring to the picture of Bong-soon covering the larger poster behind it...and look how affectionately he "aigooed" her when she compared herself to the model in the larger poster.

Cut scenes from EP 31:

preparing Korea's equivalent to Japan's natto:

Bong-gi and his foreign 'I love you''s, and Bong-soon's b-day prep:

Counting, Bong-gi so far has said 'I love you' in 10 different languages: Swahili, Xhosa, Sunda, Igbo, Tibetan, Polish, class reveal Image class spoiler Russian, Spanish, Chinese, and French With each chosen foreign language spoken, Bong-gi's confidence to express his feelings towards Bong-soon grows.

And for those who might have missed out on the final moments of last night's ep...as well as for those who'd like a "preview" of tonight's episode, the preview is also included within this clip:

don't you think his outfit is an apt representation of how his heart must be right now? Not only is it "red" but it's also torn [designed that way] at the shoulders.

I agree (not only on the speedo thing, but I was rooting for that too!! Esp. when he was looking at them in the store! ;) ) But Min-Ki is amazing! The scene in the karoke room with Dr. Chang tore at my heart, I was balling and at the end when he was depseratly (sp?) waiting for Bong Soon and when he saw her he started to cry! OMG!! I was totally in tears. He is absolutely amazing! I too am in love with his character and the actor as well. *stands up and cheers* GOOD JOB Min-Ki!

I actually also thought that the scene with Bong Soon's mother was touching as well. Like Bong-Gi's dad said, she has a good heart, although she doesn't go about things in the right way. But when she said she was trying to shop for BS and she didn't even know her favorite color, I was crying, that was touching.

I can't wait for tonight. Finally BS will find out (lets hope). Thanks again creidesca for the cut scenes, you truly do rock!

Do you think that the writers/producers etc...meant it to be that way? I didn't even notice it until I read your post, but you are so right! I also was thinking that the rain was representing Bong-Gi as well. Most people when it rains...well rain is rather depressing and unforgiving. It makes things grow, but at the same time, it can cause destruction...of course I could be reading wayyyy to much into it, but I thought the rain was rather fitting.

they filmed the rain scene in last night's episode during that one week back in July in Korea when many parts of Korea was flooded due to the very heavy rain.

I agree with all of you about last night's ep. Good comments regarding all the sceens!! I, too, was laughing when they were running and covering their heads at the pool. Well.... maybe it was lighting (which we couldn't hear), so maybe they were also trying to get away from the pool water - just thinking out loud.

One thing I thought about with the rain scene was that he was waiting for Bong Soon and it made me think of the story about his mom waiting for him in the rain
