Re: K-drama: 진짜 진짜 좋아해 (Really Really Like You)

Seems like some scenes were cut again tonight?

BS's mom has got some nerve! And she should think before she opens her mouth, or better yet, just keep it closed!

I had to yell at the TV when Ji-soo turned on the burner, I just knew something bad was about to happen. What was that flashback Ji-soo had about a fire all about? It seemed to jar something from her memory.

And did BG say "I love you" again at the end?

Oh yeah, does else anybody notice that the Blue House has a flying insect problem?

*Sorry about the double post*

When BS's mom took that money, I was like, the least you could have done was pretend like you weren't willing to accept it.

Though, when BS was yelling at her mom...what BG tells her later was right:

BK: Is the reason you said those things and you're being like this really b/c [you're ashamed] of your mom? Is that the real reason you're this mad/upset?
BS: Leave; get out. I want to be left alone.
BK: If you said you were going to forget him, then get over him. If you said that you were going to be his younger sister from now on, then act like it. If you know that nothing can come of this, then give it up already! What it that embarrasing for you? Why was it so embarrassing in front of JW? B/c it came from JW's mom, the First Lady? You need to hurry up and clear your mind.

And what was the look on BS's face? I don't think she was even thinking whether how hurt BG was, but rather was everything alright with Joon-won when the First Lady talked about BG's injury at the luncheon.

Yet, on the other hand, BS is showing signs of jealousy? If that kiss from Soo-kyung didn't mean anything, she wouldn't have called BG "Mr. Pervert" and wouldn't have reacted like that when the entire family was sitting down to the pork BS bought with the bonus money.

Now, we can understand why Joon-won and Hyo-won are apprehensive whenever Ji-soo is near a fire source...looks like in her earlier dementia stage, she caused the entire house to be on fire, endangering the life of her daughter. Might be why the daughter went to the US to live w/ grandmother and only returned recently.

I'll get up the "I love you" clip from EP 29 in 1-2hrs. I don't think any scenes were cut out (?) I didn't tape tonight's episode to know, since I watched the DVD subbed version twice and caught the TV aired version later.

I must have missed the reason why the mom was given the money, but , isn't it customary to refuse it at first for politeness sake?

Once again the patient was left unsupervised to endanger herself and her daughter. The mother wanted Dr. Chang to let her go to the states with them, but I can't see how she's keeping her out of harm at all.
This trauma could not be good for her recovery.

If I have to look one more time at Dr. & BS gazing at one another like lovesick cows, in front of his wife, mother, & daughter-----------really ,they have no constraint

Here's the 'I love you' scene from tonight's episode. Bong-gi said it in 2 different languages:

And it's interesting that the scene also refers to the Dangun Myth, considering that BS sees BG as a bear (afterall, he did give her that teddy bear), and BG doesn't see BS as human yet.

I knew BG had told BS he loved her AGAIN! What is this like the 5th or 6th time he has confessed his love for her?? Wow, he is getting more brave! GO BG!!

As for BS's mom. I also do not like her at all, but I was expecting that from her and I was a little dissapointed with BS for yelling at her, as was BG. It's sorry to say, but people with no shame like BS' mom really have no recourse taking money they don't earn, asking favors from people who are willing to help. At least she asked for a job and not more money. It is a sad situation, but in her own way at least she was trying. The thing I was angry about like BS was that her mom didn't use the money to pay back BG's dad when she really should have used it for that, or at least to pay off some of her other debts.

Ji-Soo is noticing the blatant connection between the Dr. and BS. Or was I the only one who saw that? God, they are so outright about it! It is disturbing to watch really! I was thinking; How dare you both stare at each other like that in front of the first lady and Ji-Soo! And on top of that, whenever BS sees the first lady she always has this look of guilt on her face...giving away everything almost!

What was with that flash back of the fire that Ji-Soo had? I thought that Hae-Won was in America since she was a little baby? At least that is they impression that I had got, she looked very grown-up in that flash back. Poor Ji-Soo, she just wants to be normal, but we all kind of saw a scene like this coming.

On a side note...love the Dr's hair cut, looks much better on him.

Tonight's episode should be interesting...

I watched that fire flashback scene again and it looked like it was a Christmas tree that was on fire.

yup, a Christmas tree caught on fire...as for Hyo-won, the hairstylist attempted to make her look much younger by having her hair in pigtails, to suggest that the fire scene happened some time long ago.

It could be one of the reasons why Hyo-won, when she initially returned to Korea, did not want to go see her mom.

I hope the Dr.'s new haircut is his attempt at telling us he's a changed man.

I know the Dr. was being honest but both my son and I were annoyed when the Dr. told the reporter (that he knew he was a reporter) that he wasn't the Good husband he thought he was. I mean the man knew he was talking to a reporter. It just irked us. Why fuel the flames anymore. He already knows the man has been following him and taking pictures.

Does Dr. Chang wants to be found out? How did his wife find the divorce papers anyway? And with their money can't they hire an in home nurse? I just don't get it.

She discovered the divorce papers in their bedroom dresser drawer--one of the cut scenes from last week's EP 28. This somewhat led to the scene we saw at the end of the episode where Ji-soo attempts to iron his clothes and eventually says she is his wife.

As for hiring an in-home nurse, they had one, that Ahjumma we saw in the beginning episodes. But looks like with Ji-soo's mother return to Korea, the Ahjumma has been let go, since the mother's intention was to bring Ji-soo to the US.

But seriously, the mother gave a lame excuse for saying that she forced Joon-won to put his seal to the divorce papers because she wanted her daughter to go to the US for treatment. She can go to the US for treatment without needing to have her husband divorce her.

BS Mom is just so shameless. She has gotten in heck a lot of trouble. She has no business accepting that money, plus to go shopping with it really is the height of vulgarity. I hope she will change for the better.

BS is just too sweet even if at times he gets his signals crossed. That reporter is the same guy in Mr. Goodbye right?
