I think that in this drama she's going a little overboard with the whole 'I'm a total country girl' thing. She doesn't even know how to use the toilet! I'm expecting a total change in her in the later episodes. Well, Nam Bong Gi (Bong Gil is the name of the chicken) mumbled to himself about there being no TV, no electricity, etc. Also remember their outhouse. And they definitely let us know that Bong Soon likes the Dr. But still not sure on his feelings. I really don't look forward to another dumb country girl story. It offends me to see a woman put down this way. It is too difficult to imagine anyone so deficient. Even tho she was in the country it seems to me she went to school and she saw TV so she has to be aware of modern bathrooms. Not sure I will follow this one all the way. The actor who plays the doctor is not strong enough to carry a drama on his shoulders. There is also the slight idea that she is the daughter of someone in a higher position according to what granny whispered... and there were papers burning in the fire which I don't think got saved. Not sure. That is when the badge was scorched. Right now most of us who are keeping up w/ the current epis are anticipating this weekend's worth of epis in Korea (ep 19-20) as that is when she'll learn whether she's the daughter of the President or not. class reveal class spoiler and it looks very much she's NOT. The drama has several surprises that will catch you off guard. class reveal class spoiler For 1, the doctor is very very very much married and has a child who's at least 8years old. I think you guys didn't pay attention to that one conversation in ep 4 b/w the doctor and his parents at the Presidential home. And who is to say who's the lead? The only 2 places that list the doctor before the bodyguard is in the OP and in the ending credits. At the official website the bodyguard is listed before the doctor. And when the first news of plans for this drama came out, the general storyline was about a country girl turned cook at the Presidential home and the Presidential bodyguard she meets. We also shouldn't forget what this drama is about: the people working at the Presidential home. Don't forget my warning: the 1st 6 epis are rather slow by mini-drama standards. The drama picks up starting from ep 7. It has 36 episodes! Bong soon is getting on my nerves because she's too much of a country girl. She's far more worse than Bokshil from "Which Star Are You From." For me, this drama is still boring. I'm hoping for something more interesting next week. I'm expecting it. The doctor seems to be such a soft person. They barely even know each other and they're so...close. I just don't get it. He's just too kind. I'm going to guess what will happen next. class reveal class spoiler Bong soon and the doctor are going to like each other. Bong Gi is going to fall for Bong soon. This is not a spoiler. I for one don't mind the country girl aspect. I like it. It gives it a twist because like in last nights episode she was taken in by that cult. Had she been born and raised in Seoul like Bong-Gi told her she would know how to spot crazy people like that. I think it's interesting so far, kind of slow, but I can see many potential storylines growing. I am anticipating what will happen. I guess I didn't quite catch that scene with the President. That kind of makes sense though because when Bong Soon first saw the Doctor after she came to Seoul and he suggested staying at his house, then quickly decided it was a bad idea...hmm makes you wonder. Anyway I am enjoying it so far.
