Greetings to all

Having enjoyed reading this forum for a year or so (one of the lurkers!) have finally decided to join. We have a 2008 T31 ST-L automatic - Platinum White in colour - just 12 months and 30,000k old.

Have a few of the more common accessories - nudge bar, bash plate, tow bar, side protection strips, floor mats, luggage cover etc - and are pleased with our purchase which we bought for "mild adventure".

Two of the issues to be resolved in the next few weeks include finding some 17" tyres and determining the easiest way to feed a CB antenna cable from the engine bay into the cabin.

We live in the Adelaide Eastern suburbs in the foothills.

All the best to all.

Colin

Welcome.

From memory the best place to feed a cable through is to remove the glove box, and up in the firewall on the far left hand side is a rubber grommet that is not used for anything. Leads straight to the engine bay on the side.

Hi Colin & family; emoticon to the Forum.
You are in the right place, for info abaout themighty Exy.
Down the bottom of your glovebox, there is a small plastic pin, hinge pins on each side, pull them towards the centre of the glovebox, using a small screwdriver; then the glovebox will neary fall into your lap.
There is a number of members over your way, have a look at the meetups section, I think they have an outing coming up soonly.

If you haven't already done so; could you please click the flashing button, up the top of the page, which says Vote for our forum.;
After you do this, could you drop into the announcements section, (vote for our site) & let everyone know how we are going in the position race.
If everyone votes for the forum each day, we can climb up the listing, & show everyone that the X-Trail does rock the world..
Thanx for that. emoticon
