Re: **Loose intake butterfly screws**
I'd be interested in knowing also. I've considered getting mine probed with an endoscope to eyeball the butterfly valves but the engine has never missed a beat since way back in 2003. So I'm a little reluctant to crack the gaskets to check it out. Although for $269 I might consider it getting done. You must have told em it was your B'day recently and they gave you a discount eh ?

It's good to see at least one dealer that didn't look surprised by your request and already knew about it. Tells a lot about the pro-active approach of some good dealers out there. I hop the rest can follow suit.

Re: **Loose intake butterfly screws**
When I rang various dealers for their prices, the service manager at Hardmans in Armidale was able to give me their price as soon as I mentioned it. They had previously carried out this work on 3 other X-Trails . They also had the cheapest price, so may finally get it done there when I next visit my sister.
