Re: **Loose intake butterfly screws** I think the main problem is that probably not all Nissan service centres would have an endoscope to perform this non-invasive test.

Hi, after reading all off the problems with the butterfly srews I unsrewed mine and put some loctite-262 ,this was the strongest I could get.Also before I unscrewed them , I checked their tension and found that some where very tight and others not as tight, also some of them looks they already had some type of loctite and others none.Mine is a 2001 and had travelled 122k when I purchased it about 2 months ago.
