 Downtime on www possible tonight, hardware upgrade
I'm installing some new hardware so I might have to unplug one of the servers briefly tonight. You will still be able to access the boards through comX servers, but not through www for some time - hopefuly just seconds, but maybe minutes.

Most likely hours .... lol. Things rarely go as planned Thor and when dealing with hardware upgrades you can expect the worst.

I only had problems with COM5 boards, couldn't get to them from COM5. or WWW.

Too much eggnog over the holiday, Thor? Just kidding. With all the official boards and my own board on com5, I was having Runboard withdrawals, lol, but it should be worth these bumps in the road once the improvements are finished and everything is running more smoothly.

WWW is the server that was having trouble, but com5 boards and the homepage were (and still are) all redirecting to www. However, the control panels for com5 boards were still accessible, thus the generic "Please see this thread for details about the downtime" announcement when I was unable to reach Thor before I went to bed last night, when it previously said "Possible downtime".

All I was able to access was my home board. Nothing worked on the other sites whether www or coms 1 - 5.

I could access any com1-4 board as long as I used the com# and not the www. Did you get the email PM I sent you last night? I used the email PM option instead of the inbox PM in case you didn't know you could access PMs last night. But I don't know which server the email PMs go through, and if they go through www, it may not have gone through.

I did a google for runboard.com and finally found a board link that worked... I could do the control panel navigation to any com# control panel as long as I didn't attempt to go to the board.
